The Job

Warner Bros. Consumer Products Inc. seeks a Manager, Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment for the Global Themed Entertainment department.
Under direction of Director, implements and executes strategies for long-term growth in the WBTE category. Primarily focused on Live Entertainment, Exhibitions, with support of the Wizarding World and overall WBTE development and management, as well as business development of existing and emerging opportunities. Manage specific licensing activities for WBTE with responsibility for potential business growth opportunities, licensee negotiation input and specific day-to-day oversight.

The Daily
• Evangelizes WBTE strategy and goals
• Supports both short-term and long-term WBTE strategies in order to maximize revenue and brand exposure. Utilizing industry knowledge, determines appropriate business opportunities based on licensee experience, market share, creative ability, financial proposal, speed to market and overall fit within WBTE portfolio of themed experiences
• Focuses on managing and growing Live Entertainment and Character Costumes portfolio of Warner Bros. brands both in existing and future parks and Location Based Entertainment (LBE) as well as touring and fixed locations
• Under direction of Director, manages all aspects of assigned WBTE accounts from pitching properties and input on contract negotiation to servicing the day-to-day business needs of licensees including oversight of creative approvals through StarLabs and in direct consultation with Creative team, procurement of creative assets including style guides, marketing updates, property research, legal approvals, and public relations support
• Works closely with key internal stakeholders (Franchise, PR, Legal, Finance, Product Development, Brand Assurance, DC & WBCP) along with sister divisions (Studio Facilities, WBTV, WBIE, WBHE, Theatrical Promotions) to ensure consistent brand and strategy alignment, communication on necessary approvals and marketing activations, and asset requests
• Assists Director in evaluating complex and/or new business opportunities including due diligence on potential license, market & competition, size of financial opportunity, and best business model, as well as, assists in negotiating critical deal points providing key input and analysis
• Assists Director in establishing, managing, and achieving financials goals, providing significant input in overall short-term and long-range budget targets, as well as, assists in all forecasts/business reviews and monitors sales results to ensure revenues meet budgetary goals
• In collaboration with the WBTE territory lead, communicates key account activity to international stakeholders including general licensee updates, current negotiations and pitches, financial forecasts, and long-term plans
• Attends tradeshows and visits licensees as needed to update property activities and provide strategic direction
• Performs other related licensing duties and special projects as assigned

The Essentials
• 3 – 5 years previous licensing, themed entertainment, theater, or live entertainment related experience – specifically in themed entertainment and live entertainment project management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• Knowledge of licensing industry a plus
• Knowledge of WB IP preferred
• Must have ability to organize and prioritize work, prepare, and present written and oral sales presentations, and communicate with clients, licensees, and management to determine needs and solve problems
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with senior management and all other levels of personnel
• Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks
