PRIMARY PURPOSE: Working with Global Publicity in communicating studio needs to vendors for Events.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This position would be based in NY and support both events and field with responsibilities to include:
• Split films with other field staff to run regional pub/promo campaigns
o Secure comp markets
o Provide field reps with film info for brainstorming
o Create directives
o Building Field slide for filmmaker presentations
o Pull together recap reports and circulate
• Support LA team with setting and executing NY screenings
o Theatre booking
o Staffing
• Handle junket inviting for Eastern region outlets
• Junket press travel management
• NY-based hotel contact for junkets/premieres
o Scout locations
• NY-based events team support
o Scout locations/venues
o Meet with NY-based vendors
o Support on production for NY/East Coast events
o Execution support for NY/east coast events
o NY-based exec comms (HBO/HBO Max)
JOB RELATED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education
High school diploma required.
College coursework in related field preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
Must have advertising, publicity or special event background.
Must be able to coordinate people and events in the staging of Special Events.
Must be able to attend various activities.
Must be able to estimate and budget Special Events.
Work Experience
3+ years previous event planning and management experience required.
Licenses or Certificates
None
Physical Demands
General office activities – walking, standing, sitting, talking, typing, etc.
Must be able to work overtime as required.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers, clients, talent, vendors, and other levels of personnel.
