The Job

Warner Bros. Technology seeks a Lead to oversee production and supply chain operations and product readiness across both physical (DVD/Blu Ray) and digital partner platforms. This role will be part of the Content Operations & Planning team, working within the Technical Operations group. This position will serve a critical function to ensure that physical and digital content is released to consumers on time and in line with quality standards. This role will work cross functionally with various teams to ensue product readiness and will liaise with our internal business stakeholders in a planning and Client Service capacity.

The Daily
• Act and product and production SME – to include detailed specifics of IP, talent requirements, promotional aspects, & technical requirements inclusive of new technology needs associated with the product. Able to clearly communicate any new technology requirements and define new processes as needed to accommodate
• Engage with our internal WB business units in planning of product schedules for global release, and across all formats. Understands for a given title, what the ''bill of materials'' will include, and tracks accordingly. Maintain product schedules as needed for downstream production work
• Facilitate and coordinate planning activities between asset, distribution, and client teams to ensure alignment in planning and timelines for timely asset creation & delivery to the various end points for a given product. This will entail working across both physical and digital servicing teams and relying on Specialists to execute deliveries
• Escalate and communicate risk to product to stakeholders and clearly communicates potential business impact
• Leverages reporting to communicate status and other relevant data points
• Maintains a detailed understanding of our QC standards, product specs, and our QC vendor processes and test plans
• Oversee and ensure that the data being captured via our QC processes in our rejections workflow and that it meets our reporting needs
• Responsible for providing awareness around any risks product quality to the appropriate stakeholders and that any quality issues going to market ''as is'' have been approved at the right level
• Engages in regular process improvement activities around QC with our service providers as well as our internal teams to ensure that asset fixes are applied across all product types, and that asset information is being correctly recorded and referenced by the teams who are accessing it
• Using production schedules and bill of materials, works across multiple vendors to understand project and delivery status of required elements
• Ensure that vendor KPI and status information related to products in scope are captured correctly in systems of record and relevant reporting
• Escalate delays and risks
• Capture knowledge and training gaps at vendor and work with knowledge management team to rectify

The Essentials
• Strong communications skills at senior management level required
• Minimum of 3 yrs previous experience in digital media/content operations experience
• Must have project management experience and ability to multi-task
• Must have strong time management skills
• Must have personnel management experience
• Experience in DVD/Blu Ray production oversight/vendor management is required
• Strong ability to interact with clients at various levels
• Proven ability managing clients and vendor relationships
• Must have understanding of consumer product merchandising/messaging
• Strong problem solving skills required
• Experience utilizing technical tools and new technologies
• Must have experience using online/web tools and interfaces
• Have a general interest/knowledge of many forms of media products, digital or otherwise
• BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio
• Must be tactful with personnel at all levels of the company and with external clients
• Must be able to prepare clear and concise reports
• Must maintain organized, current and accurate records and files
