IT Supporter

Job Description

Department/Company Overview:

The IT Department is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

Primary Purpose of the Job:

The IT Department maintains all the computers, servers and telephone networks.

Key Responsibilities:
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support for employees regarding IT issues.
• User administration (setup/maintaining accounts) for different systems.
• Maintains network and VoIP system.
• Administers employee workspace relocations by setting up workspaces with appropriate hardware, and handles troubleshooting as appropriately.
• Other job-related duties or special projects as required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• German language skills (min C-1 required)
• Good communication skills
• Good organisational skills
• Good time management
• Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software
• A working knowledge of IT operating systems, i.e. Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and Mac OS. (Server and Workstation)

Education and Work Experience:
• Education as IT Specialist
• Specific work experience
