Head of Theatrical & Home Entertainment Marketing (f/m/d)Position Overview
As the Head of Theatrical & Home Entertainment Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating the Marketing strategies for Theatrical & Home Entertainment film and series releases in Germany, Austria & Switzerland. Furthermore, you will coordinate and oversee media planning and buying activity for both linear and digital media with a view to delivering best practice and value.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and implement breakthrough marketing (brand & content) standards and strategies; Direct the development and implementation of consolidated life cycle marketing plans for US Movies, with a particular focus on innovative Theatrical launch campaigns, as well as execution of marketing strategies for Local Productions
• Understanding of full funnel marketing and ability to create messages that connect content to audiences via multiple touchpoints
• Evolve a truly data-led organization – ensuring all relevant performance signals are captured and utilized for real time marketing campaign optimization
• Ensure execution and alignment of divisional and cross-divisional creative marketing activities, working alongside the WBD GSA and international division heads
• Supervise the Performance Marketing team to allocate digital budgets in appropriate channels
• Ensure overall campaign fit and efficient use of media budget and exchange of information
• Initiate customer brand and product research initiatives in close collaboration with the WBD Insights department to explore consumer motivation for products involved
• Responsible for the budget, lead its planning and forecasting, and oversee its controlling. Regular communication with key business partners to factor in any changes in financial planning in relation to business goals and special projects
• Work closely with the Local Production Team to execute the Local Production marketing plans
• Encourage experimentation and innovation whilst ensuring established necessary business processes and communication lines are maintained
• Responsible for ensuring reporting to Burbank and European / International Offices as required; continually evaluate the necessity of reporting and recommend improvements to reduce duplication of effort, time and resource
Job Title Profile (The essentials)
• Extensive leadership experience preferably gained in (US) Theatrical marketing and strategic planning
• Experience in managing high profile media marketing campaigns, overseeing 3rd party promotions and conducting market research projects
• Ability to convert data and insights into creative strategies
• Good commercial acumen to optimize P&L projections (P&L)
• Strong planning & organizational skills to prioritise and work across multiple projects and to meet tight deadlines
• Innovative and innovator
• Ability to manage various simultaneous projects and meet deadlines
• Experienced people manager with strong leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• University degree in relevant field
