SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under the direction of the VP of Production, Post-Production & Operations, the position works on all pre-production/budgeting, production, post-production and production planning aspects of the Stage 13 development and active production slate for scripted and unscripted formats across digital, new media, episodic and features. Stage 13 is WBTV / WarnerMedia's award-winning studio and production company focused on diverse and inclusive storytelling.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with VP of Production, Post-Production & Operations and General Manager to establish and iterate scripted and unscripted production strategy and models with a focus on multiple formats, genres, budget levels and incorporating diverse, distinctive voices, worlds, and talent.
• Oversee production planning, production, post-production process and manage above the line and below the line talent on projects. Work directly with both internal and external producers on budgets, plans, schedules along with creative team and key stakeholders. Review creative/production materials and give notes throughout all phases from development through production and marketing.
• Collaborate with our creative and production leads to hire, manage, and oversee above the line and below the line talent throughout all production phases. Work closely with finance, creative, marketing and Stage 13 teams on production deliverables i.e. graphics, audio, post-production, legal, marketing and PR.
• Source best in class production and post-production vendors and partners in US and internationally for Stage 13 projects. Oversee customized production plans based on latest tax incentive structures, COVID protocols and union/non-union productions across formats.
• Seek out untapped markets and cultivate relationships with creative communities and up-and-coming producers for partnerships. Identify and connect with untapped and notable talent aligned with Stage13's mission for potential partnerships.
• Ensure high level of quality control, cultural integrity, and authenticity throughout creative and production process.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Work Experience
• Minimum 7 years' experience within the US/global entertainment industry.
• 5 years direct experience in TV/film production development and/or digital media/streaming
• 3 years' experience working as Line Producer or equivalent type job
• Experience working in both Scripted & Unscripted Production preferred

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• College degree
or equivalent required

Knowledge/Skills
• Expertise and passion for diverse and global stories, talent, and IP.
• Track record advocating for and collaborating with diverse voices and talent.
• Experience collaborating with talent early on in their career and/or identifying unique voices, break-out material, or ideas at early stages.
• Hands-on experience with: working with new and established creators; on-set producing (series, features, and/or short form); creative talent development/management.
• Direct relationships with producers, vendors, ATL/BTL talent/crew
• Working knowledge of marketplace, buyers, talent representatives, and executives particularly, across scripted/unscripted space.
• Passionate, curious and discerning consumer of tv, film, pop culture, art, literature and media. Has a clear point of view and taste while open and perceptive in assimilating new ideas, sensibilities and perspectives
• Must be skilled in budgeting, scheduling & crewing in both scripted and unscripted production
• Must have expert level knowledge of ''industry standard'' programs including Movie Magic Budgeting
• Strong grasp of story, structure, and genre fundamentals across mediums/formats.
• Entrepreneurial and innovative in approach to producing.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, judgment, and diplomacy managing senior managers, stakeholders, talent, and partners.
• Skilled in identifying and addressing intersectional issues in creative/production process with sensitivity and diplomacy.
• Top quality presentation and communication skills with ability to read the room.
• Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple projects at same time with fast-paced/fast-changing environment.
• Strategic thinker and problem-solver.
• Results-oriented, highly self-motivated.
• Willing to be adaptable and flexible working in off-hour schedules.
• Willing to travel
