The Job

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and execute a robust internal communications strategy, which will align colleagues across Warner Bros. Discovery's portfolio of businesses around the company's strategic vision and culture.

This person will ensure that employees feel informed, included and connected to the work we do across the group, with a targeted and consistent programme of communications activities.

The Daily
• Develop an internal communications strategy focused on keeping employees informed about major company decisions and corporate strategy, while enhancing understanding of all the different businesses in the group and building engagement with our brands and content.
• Plan and produce town halls and other forums for engagement with executive leaders.
• Support senior leaders in adopting best practices for internal communications.
• Coordinate with People & Culture to communicate the priorities for developing a new cross-company culture.
• Build and expand an EMEA Workplace presence to keep employees connected with the business and each other.
• Bring to life in-person events, which will support tentpole activities locally and globally.
• Work closely with brand leads and in-market corporate communications to create a calendar of impactful communications campaigns, which can be rolled out consistently to employees across multiple offices, markets and channels.
• Partner with CSR and DEI colleagues to plan communications around corporate initiatives.
• Identify positive company news and career stories, which can be elevated and shared with employees globally.
• Anticipate and identify any potential reputational issues, and work with internal and external colleagues on developing a response.
• Liaise with colleagues in external communications to ensure any information shared publicly is thoughtfully communicated within the company.
• Manage and develop junior team members

The Essentials
• Experience in leading and managing internal communications across a large, international media company
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
• Capacity to work across international markets effectively
• Experience producing events with measurable results
• Project management and ability to deliver to a budget
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders
• Experience of change management or dealing with sensitive transitions
• Willingness to try new platforms and approaches to communication
