The Job:
The DevOps engineer is responsible for designing and building highly available infrastructure in the cloud, automated code deployment pipelines and securing the account using best practices and procedures defined by the AIO group.
The Daily:
• Design and build cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications
• Automating deployment pipelines
• Automating Infrastructure deployments
• Implement and improve monitoring and alerting
• Security compliance and governance assessments
• Production readiness assessments
• Disaster recovery / business continuity planning and deployments
• Application migrations to the cloud
• Documentation
The Essentials:
• Minimum 3 years working experience of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps / System Engineer
• Good Knowledge of scripting
• Strong experience with automation tooling
• Solid familiarity with Systems Engineering, Operating systems, Networking concepts and security
• Work knowledge of AWS services and products (EC2, ECS, SQS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Experience with Azure cloud platform for building infrastructure using IaC methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD - AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline – Azure DevOps
• Ability to provide technical leadership to developers for designing and deploying modern solutions
• Solid understanding of version control systems (git), including branching and merging strategies
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Node, PowerShell
• Working knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation for building infrastructure as code
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration background
• Familiarity with containerization - Fargate and Docker.
The Nice to Have:
• Working knowledge of MS Active Directory implementation, architecture and upgrades
• Familiarity with media and broadcasting technology – Hardware and software
