The Job

Working closely with the Senior Content Operations Manager (SCOM), the Content Operations Manager is responsible for multiple cross-functional alignments for promotional content workflows. Together with the SCOM, you will be the main liaison with Creative Services, Operations, Editorial, Publishing, and Scheduling teams regarding promotional and ancillary content delivery to platform. You will ensure the Latin American fans' content experience for HBOMAX LATAM is flawless and will serve as the primary Go-To resource for identifying and troubleshooting different and complex workflows while providing immediate and long-term solutions for all promotional content .

The Daily
• Ensure asset delivery and localization integrity from end to end from a consumer and editorial point of view for all HBOMAX LATAM ancillary content types: GE, KYAC, Live Events
• Track open issues, identify risks, and enable resolution by partnering cross-functionally across internal teams such as S&P, Operations, Scheduling and Editorial to ensure metadata flows throughout its lifecycle
• Build, maintain, and optimize forms, reports, trackers, and dashboards (Monday, Smarthsheet, Jira, Asana. etc.) and help onboard our stakeholders with new tools and processes to enable scalable and repeatable operations
• In conjunction with data analytics resources, ensure KPI data is established, effective, maintained, and accessible to assist with understanding and managing operational performance tied to core distribution models such as direct to consumer and day and date distribution
• Communicate clearly and concisely technical challenges, risks, and requirements to business stakeholders, providing a weekly status of each promotional workflow: inline, trailers, and extras
• Help manage timeline of implementations (PRESTO), and prioritize solutions from the fan POV, taking into consideration local and global perspectives as well as cross-functional teams, from the promotional content perspective
• Drive and optimize GE and KYAC promotion workflow management and processes across HBOMAX LATAM by applying analytics and user insights to support conclusions
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks to help other teams and departments with workflow improvement and automation as well as operational delivery
• Develop consistent business rules, consumer experience standards and best practices across various functions, as a tool for new requests and system enhancements, by maintaining a holistic view of the end-to-end global promotions space

The Essentials
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management / business operations / management consulting in the media and/or digital and/or entertainment space
• Minimum 2+ years of experience using ITIL / Service Now / JIRA equivalent change and ticketing system
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Media Supply Chain workflows
• Good understanding of image creation, video encoding, metadata, subtitling and dubbing
• Proficient in G Suite, Monday.com, Asana, JIRA, Smartsheet and other similar tools used in day-to-day project management and operations
• Experience with traditional waterfall and agile delivery methodology and development methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of how to apply both in coexistence, i.e. WAGILE, also would be an advantage
• Experience in data analysis involving querying SQL databases or equivalent data sources, is a plus. Proficiency with manipulating data in spreadsheets
• Thrives in ambiguous, rapidly-evolving deadline-driven environments, constantly, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement; start-up experience a plus
• Organized self-starter with a strong attention to detail, accountable, a team player, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels within the organization and operate successfully in a cross-cultural environment
• Knowledge of competitive global landscape including SVOD, AVOD, and OTT services
• Advocate for stakeholders and passionate about delivering the best user experience possible

• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese
• A Bachelor's degree, preferred in engineering, information systems, or an analytical field
