The Job

The CSSU Projects Team is part of the Turner Sports Production Services Team and supports Turner Sports/Bleacher Report's Digital Social Production, CSSU Linear Creative and Content, Design, Multimedia, BR Gaming and Sales on the production of all pre-produced content and marketing & sales creative elements.

The Projects Team is the glue for creative development and production - holding everyone accountable to the overarching project goal. The projects group leads teams by driving their focus where it's required in a fast-paced environment. They are the main point of contact for our internal and external partners and clients and are the people to go to when an update is needed on where a project is and where it needs to be. They will listen to the needs of partners, clients and the CSSU team and help drive improvements in how we work together. Finally, they will drive the project to completion and delivery on-time.

The Associate Project Manager role works with the Manager in overseeing the production of all pre-produced content created for Turner Sports/Bleacher Report Digital Social Production. This position is responsible for working with partners to understand project needs, building and adhering to timelines, facilitating creative brainstorms and discussions, booking resources, obtaining approvals, and communicating necessary changes, trafficking and delivering final creative all while keeping everyone touching the project informed. In addition to handling day-to-day project execution, the Associate Project Manager role is also responsible for some people/project oversight, team planning and oversight of larger projects and initiatives.

The Daily
• Project manager oversight of an area of the business
• Main POC for various groups across the business, including creative, Bleacher Report portfolio brands, multimedia, production, social, production management, programming, design, business teams, marketing, sales and sponsorship, league, legal, and talent services
• Responsible for working with team and Senior Producer on weekly scheduling needs and communicating needs to the Studios team
• Assist and/or lead long range planning
• Including working with production/portfolio brands to determine future needs
• Bring creative groups together to brainstorm needs
• Facilitate creative write ups and handle all needed approvals and communication of final concept
• Project ownership
• Manage projects from start-to-end by defining project scope, developing detailed project plans and milestones, managing schedules, leading communication, providing status updates and delivering final assets
• Liaison between various groups touching a project including Bleacher Report portfolio brands, creative, multimedia, production, social, production management, programming, design, business teams, marketing, sales and sponsorship, league, legal, and talent services
• Monitor and maintain Airtable records for all projects
• Serve as conduit between Airtable requests and production leadership team
• Main contact for producers/designers to communicate the daily business/project status, as well as the monitoring, tracking and reporting on project deliverables to ensure project deadlines are on target
• Manage producer schedule for individual projects
• Create and track specific project budgets
• Create, communicate and adhere to production timelines
• Manage the process of approvals and feedback as well as feedback to Management
• Create and maintain tracking grids
• Identify areas of production process for project management support
• Quickly find solutions for operational questions or issues within the production team
• Work with Project Manager and department leadership to continue to define and implement process
• Work with Manager and Producers on scheduling needs
• Maintain QT Archive for owned projects
• Update meeting notes/agendas and send recaps

The Essentials
• 2-3 years operational, production, project management experience
• Ability to oversee and train other team members on day-to-day projects
• Strong organizational, communication and attention to detail skills
• Strong understanding of production needs and postproduction workflow
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and ability to prioritize on the fly
• Flexibility to work unconventional hours and travel some
