Work Experience:

2+ years of experience in Data Management, Rights Management, Content Operations is preferred. Relevant entertainment industry experience is required.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

BA/BS degree required.

Job Description:
• Responsible for creating accurate rights, asset, and pricing records in transactional film and TV avails database; managing throughout product lifecycle; and communicating this data to clients.
• Release Plan and Client Avails Creation: Respond to daily requests from international territory offices and domestic Marketing and Sales for transactional digital product rights verifications and video, audio, and subtitle asset availability. Reach out to Legal, Mastering, Subtitling, Territory Offices, Client Relations, and Servicing as needed to investigate these requests. Create detailed, accurate records reflecting this research in the Salesforce-based Client Avails System and in other files and databases as needed.
• Manage Product Lifecycle for Rights and Pricing Changes: Track transactional digital film and TV across multiple rights and pricing windows and execute re-categorization, repricing, take-downs and re-avails as needed.
• Data Cleansing: Initiate periodic reports and use advanced Excel skills to analyze data integrity. Research rights, asset availability, and pricing as needed to verify correct data and update the Client Avails System with these data corrections.
• Support Communications with our Distribution Platforms, including System to System Feeds: Upload avails documents to client avails ingestion portals and troubleshoot errors. Work with various departments to resolve underlying causes of data errors in avails uploads. Respond to ad-hoc requests from clients to verify avails information. Monitor system-to-system feeds and take corrective action/initiate work-arounds as needed.

Knowledge/Skills:

Experience in data integrity and working with large databases required.

Attention to detail and high accuracy in data management

Computer Skills: Outstanding Excel skills required. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook proficiency required; familiarity with SAP, SalesForce.com, iTunes Connect is a plus.

Strong project management and analytical skills

Strong oral/written communication and listening skills

Knowledge and passion for the entertainment industry.

Working knowledge of digital content distribution process and terminology is a plus.

What A Day Might Look Like:
• Join a call with London team to coordinate the on-boarding of more clients to our worldwide EST/VOD avails database. Brainstorm how to manage local edit requirements in the system.
• Check for failed events in the automated rights & pricing feeds to some of our transactional retailers – troubleshoot and work through corrections in source and destination applications.
• Check for new and refreshed rights data for US and Canada and ensure transactional client avails data is aligned – expire or extend as needed.
• Touch base with Content Servicing group to see if they were able to locate subtitle and audio dub assets for a launch list of titles for a client who is expanding distribution into new territories.
• Your Microsoft Teams Chat messaging lights up – your supervisor has an urgent email from Sales who is trying to set up next-day promotional pricing but needs the status of a transactional product avail updated so that it flows to their planning tool.
• Sit in on Marketing's monthly promotional initiatives presentation and take note of key title lists to make sure transactional avails data is complete and accurate across all partners: rights, languages, formats and pricing.
