Your New Role

The VP & Strategic Partner in the Office of the CEO is responsible for serving as a strategic thought partner and impact multiplier to the CEO and top team to maximize business outcomes by creating, facilitating, and executing against critical corporate, commercial, and cross-BU specific priorities. The individual in this role will be responsible for building relationships with all leaders, both creative and business, and maintaining a pulse on all aspects of the business, surfacing key insights, and driving clarity of priority, process, and decision making. Leveraging their unique cross-functional exposure across all business areas and in support of the CEO's vision and priorities, the individual in this role will apply a WBD-wide leadership lens to translate strategic directions and priorities into short-term and long-term business plans that are coordinated, sequenced, and balanced to allow for positive, scalable, and sustainable impact.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Collaborating with executive team members to determine, prioritize, and strengthen business strategies and CEO's top internal initiatives
• Working with leadership across WBD to deliver, monitor, and communicate progress towards goals - including the selection and tracking specific key performance metrics
• Digesting of inbound priorities that need discussion, helping to shape the focus areas of senior leadership meetings, and tracking follow-ups to ensure critical agenda items are closed out in full
• Helping facilitate the CEO's weekly staff meetings, by organizing and managing agendas, partnering with all participants to bring relevant topics forward, keep meeting focused, and tracking follow-ups to ensure sustained momentum & delivery on next steps that are agreed upon
• Providing support and oversight for special projects and strategic business initiatives
• Assessing risk when business decisions are made and ensuring the ''urgent'' does not crowd out the ''important''
• Coordinating with senior executives to methodically develop collaboration forums, frameworks, and operational cadences to ensure major corporate beats are kicked off and tracked appropriately.
• Identifying and analyzing opportunities to make improvements across the organization, develop go-forward plans, and act as part of the ongoing team to translate recommendations into results
• Providing department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve collaboration
• Working with company stakeholders across BUs and corporate teams to drive follow-through on initiatives agreed to in leadership meetings.
• Working in partnership with Corp Comms to optimize the CEO's role and involvement across communication forums internal and external and ensure the CEO is well-prepared to drive key messages
• Provide context and direction to functional leaders, administrative staff, and support teams across the company as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
• MBA Required
• Top-tier consulting, investment banking experience with longevity in previous roles strongly preferred. With an emphasis in media mergers and integration/transformation
• Prior exposure to and knowledge of the media & entertainment industry.
• Proven ability to build confidence and trust with senior executives
• High results orientation and motivated by challenging, fast-paced, and agile environments - having a bias towards action and naturally taking the initiative where there is stalled progress or lack of clear ownership, thriving at juggling multiple priorities, and seamlessly shifting gears across priorities as needed.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, data and analytical expertise, knowledge of financial P&Ls - applying the right balance between data and qualitative information to drive decision-making and change management.
• Ability to operate under ambiguity and facilitate efficient decision-making that reflect the CEO's and company's best interest
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to set goals, prioritize initiatives, drive accountability to execution, and be adaptable to the unexpected
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to work with cross-functional stakeholders to quickly draft highly purposeful and effective communications and presentation materials that convey complex information in a clear, succinct and compelling manner.
• Diplomatic, collaborative, and able to build strong relationships with all personality types at all levels and navigate difficult conversations or situations in a way that leads and inspires confidence in teams
• Low-ego team player who puts business outcomes before his/her/their interests. A willingness and eagerness to roll up your sleeves and jump into the trenches, performing a wide range of duties to successfully drive projects across the finish line under tight deadlines and with a high standard of excellence and attention to detail.
• A coachable individual who has a growth mindset and leans into receiving feedback is eager to grow and doesn't shy away from being challenged.
• Some travel may be required and full time in office presence necessary. LA location.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $197,050.00 - $365,950.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
