Job Description

Your New Role…

Directs and executes publicity campaigns on WB theatrical releases.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Works with SVP to lead and oversee Publicity efforts and staff. Serves as strong partner and number two to the SVP.
• Oversees Los Angeles and New York publicity staffs in the implementation of campaigns. (direct reports Sr. Publicist, Jr. Publicist, Coordinator)
• Works with Sr. Marketing executives to develop publicity strategies on WB releases. Supervises the pitching and execution of publicity strategies.
• Works with international and regional WB teams to oversee and implement Home Office strategy on all titles.
• Participates in the budget and creative process of awards campaigns.
• Oversees all outside genre publicists and unit publicists.
• Sets strategy and coordinates press coverage for Academy and awards campaigns.
• Communicates with agents, managers and personal publicists on the publicity efforts of talent.
• Manages and maintains publicity budgets.
• Oversees materials groups on delivery of film assets, including photography, written materials and EPK.
• Manages set visit policies and directs team on soliciting requests.
• Works with and coordinates the activities of the field publicity and promotions group.
• Supervises the development of promotional ideas and materials needed for each film's publicity campaign.
• Miscellaneous duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience…
• BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the fields of film publicity and communications.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the entertainment/motion picture industry.
• Must have the ability to work effectively with publicity materials necessary for the coordination and management of publicity activities.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to interact with persons at all levels including talent, filmmakers, press, etc.
• Must be able to write copy for promotions that will attract interest and gain wide distribution.
• Must be able to coordinate people and events in the staging of promotions.
• Must be able to select trailers, stills and other materials for promotions that are interesting and fulfill the media's needs and requirements.
• Must be able to attend various activities.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $167,020.00 - $310,180.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
