Your New Role…

We are looking for a VoD Scheduler (m/f/d) that will be responsible for ensuring that O&O service Discovery+ is properly planned & serviced in accordance with strategic requirements. This position is an crucial point of contact between the local and international teams and will work closely with the Marketing & Operations teams to ensure that Video-On-Demand (VoD) schedules are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

This role has also an analytic focus with an affinity for metadata and clear understanding and passion for content supporting the Programming team in implementing a programming strategy for Discovery Networks Germany's channel portfolio.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Implementation of the non-linear planning of the portfolio based on strategic requirements, contractual restrictions and technical lead times
• Create and update the schedules of non-linear content in the platform's system
• Rights check of non-linear assets in consultation with the rights management team
• Curate of non-linear inventory and provision of exclusive VoD content.
• Coordinate with operations team on all asset deliveries to external partners
• Create and share schedules and reports with the wider D+ team
• Support and contribute to non-linear projects

Qualifications & Experience…
• Experience or training in media
• Ability to perform tasks within tight deadlines
• Analytical, accurate and goal-oriented working style
• Comfortable working within an ambiguous environment, with a passion for problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Passion for non-linear content and deep understanding of VoD
• Language skills: Very good knowledge of the English language
• Strong knowledge of CMS or planning software (ideally Content Explorer), XML and MS Excel
