 Salesforce Sr. Developer (Project/Term Position)

Your New Role:
The Salesforce Sr Developer is a well-rounded senior developer with a deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and experience working with teams to design and implement web-based interfaces and APIs using Java & Apex, web components & services. This role will have in-depth Salesforce knowledge. This role will be heavily focused on the Consumer Products (CP) Business Partner Portal that will transform Consumer Products business processes and automate collaborative processes between CP and their third-party partners.

Your Role Accountabilities:

The Salesforce Sr. Developer will act as will be a hands-on engineer with deep SFDC technical knowledge. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining high performing solutions on the Salesforce platform and participate in the complete development process from requirement analysis to deployment.

This is a collaborative environment where you will work with the entire development team to complete code reviews, unit testing and support post deployment activities including knowledge transfer, process documentation and application bug fixes. Will also collaborate with the Technical Lead and architecture teams to ensure solutions compatibility with WBD Tech standards. Work with the Architect and Product Manager to continuously review the business needs and ensure alignment of the Product Roadmaps to business strategy as well as the technology strategy. Also work with the Global Monetization Technology (GMT) team to provide high quality solutions that bring value to the business and align with statutory or regulatory compliance directives. Promotes GMT services and capabilities. Understand the Salesforce platform and how to implement best-in-class Salesforce solutions that meet or exceed business needs. Participates in the creation and execution of a Global Salesforce Community of Practice.
*This is a project term position meaning the position is scheduled to end on December 31, 2024. However, regular FT health benefits and vacation benefits are available to this role.

Qualifications & Experiences:
• HS Diploma/GED; Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting customized Salesforce system implementations with 500+ users
• Minimum of 4 years of working in agile engineering teams, using scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks
• Experience with design patterns and execution of Salesforce best practices for development, testing, and deployment
• Demonstrated use of Salesforce outside of a sales context, supporting other types of users, preferably in a b2b context
• Experience in Media & Entertainment industry highly desired
• 4 years of experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex, Community sites and Complex Security models
• Working knowledge of design patterns, standard coding practice, OOP, Salesforce bulkification, scheduled apex, batch apex
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Expertise in configuring Custom Objects & Fields, Validation Rules, Sharing rules, Sharing Sets, APEX Sharing rules, Flows & Approval Processes, & Reports and Dashboards
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using APIs using platform events and HTTP callouts with REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs
• Responsible for providing accurate estimates for development, testing, and deployment
• Salesforce Community/Experience Cloud with 500+ users
• Platform Developer I Certification (must have)
• Other certifications: Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder and Salesforce Administrator nice to have
• Experience in either Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Tableau CRM nice to have
• Experience extending a Salesforce application into AWS, including SES for sending emails or lambdas for triggering microservices nice to have

Salary Details
Salary Range: $95,550 to $177,450 Per Year ($ USD)
