Job Description

This position is responsible of providing support to all activities related to support of Playout for Live Events & Live Studio Operations Transmission through cloud & SDVN technologies, Provide Infrastructure and Networking areas level 1 support.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Support Playout technology and Transmission chains for WBD Live Channels Portfolio, being the FPC for operational inquires. Ex: Asses Materials transfer when needed. Perform corrective tasks on Playout devices
• Setup, validate and correct, when needed, workflows for delivering of live feeds through fiber and cloud solutions. Ex: Setup workflows to send content to the cloud for Events on HBO MAX
• Work with other support levels on different areas, such as Infrastructure, Networking and Transmission to solve time sensitive issues affecting critical services. Ex: Open tickets with providers, creates reports of failures, etc
• Prepare and assist on the creation of SOP and documentation for the area. Ex: Create SOP for solving issues related to Playout, reporting, etc.
• Perform corrective maintenance activities on critical services. Ex: Replace parts, reboot systems, etc

Qualifications & Experience
• At least 3 years of experience in managing roles in Video Operation Centers in similar media companies
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Experience in Cloud Technology distributions (AWS/Azzure/Google/Harmonic VOS)
Desirable
• Fluent in Portuguese
• +3 years in managing mission critical teams
• Broad knowledge of transport solutions and codecs
