Your New Role...

WBD is looking for a tax project manager to join our dynamic tax function. As a multinational media and entertainment business, the project manager will be involved in project management and execution of global tax initiatives. This role will focus mainly on providing project management services and implementation support for tax restructurings and initiatives. This role will work with various stakeholders and external counsel to execute transactions.

The position will demand a high degree of collaboration and partnership across all functional teams globally. Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills are critical, as well as sound communication skills.

This role is an opportunity for a candidate looking for a role in a fast-paced, PMO environment, drawing on their existing finance/accounting/legal experience.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Support the VP of International Tax and various other tax team directors in project managing and implementing tax planning initiatives, legal entity rationalization, and restructurings
• Project manage all aspects of tax-led initiatives from start to finish, including:
• Setting up and/or refining appropriate processes
• Scheduling project workshops and coordinating attendees/facilitators with a focus on the key players required
• Coordinating across all functional teams to ensure all stakeholder requirements are appropriately addressed
• Creating milestones and timelines for different workstreams and be responsible for organizing regular meetings with relevant players to ensure milestones are met on a timely basis
• Liaising with both internal stakeholders and external counsel for implementation purposes.
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders within the business to ensure a mutual understanding of key objectives and priorities
• Provide regular reporting on project status/progress and ad hoc analysis as needed and/or requested by/for/at the request of stakeholders
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, as well as external legal and tax counsel

Qualifications & Experience...
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field ideal
• Excellent project management skills - minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
• Confident in managing and collaborating with different stakeholders
• Good written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to develop strong professional relationships with internal and external parties
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize deliverables/projects with competing deadlines
• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability
• Chartered Accountant or qualified lawyer
• Previous experience in project managing large global integration or legal entity reduction
• Media/entertainment industry background
