Your New Role…

Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for a corporate tax manager, based in London UK. The role will provide support as an advisor to the business operations and support the Directors/Vice President on advisory and planning projects. This role will work with the EMEA tax team, the finance group and with external service providers who work closely with the WBD tax team. The role will require the ability to interact and be an active partner with the business operations.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Working with other areas to support corporate projects including global integration projects and cross border initiatives.
• Providing tax advice to the business on operational initiatives
• Management and mitigation of withholding tax costs to the group and management of process acting as a contact point for the business in connection with withholding taxes.
• Tax authority enquiry support across the region.
• Assist the wider team with transfer pricing matters
• Contribute to an effective risk and controls framework for tax including collaboration with internal stakeholders on corporate tax governance such as Senior Accounting Officer and CCO obligations.
• Keeping up to date with UK and International tax rules, understanding the potential impact and communicating them to stakeholders
• Work with stakeholders to ensure that both ongoing needs and ad hoc requests are met in a timely and appropriate manner
• The role will work in close partnership with the business and within the wider global tax team to ensure tax advisory matters are addressed effectively.

Qualifications & Experience…
• We are looking for a commercially minded person with 2-3 years' post-qualification experience in either the profession or industry. You'll need to hold a relevant tax or accountancy qualification (CTA, ACA or equivalent), and have experience in operating within a fast-paced environment.
• Key to success within the role is the ability to be part of a wider team and actively get involved with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry. An effective communicator, you'll be a confident team player that collaborates with people from various teams.
