Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product and Program Analyst to oversee the development and delivery of software defined systems for live production and media pipeline projects, ensuring the timely delivery of well-designed, well-scoped results that meet or exceeds customer expectations.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product and program management and business analysis, with specific experience in live production, media workflows, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to fluently be responsible for product focused roles. As a Senior Product and Program Analyst, you combine the skillset of a Business Analyst with the acumen and experience of a season operator, engineer, architect, product owner, and program manager.

Key Responsibilities:
PROCESS
• Support the efforts to define, drive, and optimize product, program, and project processes from idea to implementation.
• Consistently apply processes and standards thoughtfully, identifying the right amount of process and structure to achieve the correct outcome with the least overhead. You evangelize new ideas and gain acceptance from a wide range of audiences.
• You can independently identify new processes or eliminate inefficiencies within your scope. You play a leadership role in driving continuous improvement in program management processes and practices.
SOLUTION PLANNING AND ANALYSIS
• Oversee and when necessary, assist and take action to facilitate the intake of work requests from clients and stakeholders.
• Align with clients and assist as necessary in analyzing and documenting the Business Requirements and Justification for their work requests.
• Coordinate and lead efforts to gather, interpret, understand, analyze, and document the Product Requirements to satisfy the Business Requirements. Includes collaborating closely with clients, stakeholders, and product and engineering teams. Identify when requirements are missing and ask the right questions to drive to clarity. Understand customer use cases.
• Actively participate with product and engineering teams to support the timely and accurate development of Technical Requirements and Solution Design documents.
• Confirm the appropriate Business Case reviewers for each work request. Ensure that the documents necessary for a comprehensive Business Case review are complete and available to reviewers. Facilitate the Business Case review with appropriate stakeholders to ensure buy-in
EXECUTION AND REPORTING
• Independently own, and/or work cooperatively with clients, stakeholders, product, and engineering teams, to lead program activities.
• Work across multiple teams to drive technical solutions and influence decisions and outcomes.
• Create project milestones and identify and monitor risks, cross-team dependencies, and scope creep.
• Track and report on delivery status against planned milestones and dates.
• Regularly engage with engineers and engineering managers to assist in the conversion of functional requirements into technical designs, facilitate engineering conversations around technical approaches and level of effort, vet technical designs, validate technical direction, anticipate, and identify risks, propose mitigations, and unblock development by finding alternate paths forward.
• Communicate and influence at all levels to maintain project pace and to keep stakeholders informed of program status.
• Leverage written and verbal communication skills to generate and present clear and concise artifacts such as program presentations, requirements, and status reports.

Qualifications & Experiences:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in program management and business analysis with at least 3 years focused on production or media workflow systems preferred.
• Operational and technical proficiency and understanding of software defined systems, live production, media pipeline and metadata workflows, post-production, scheduling, broadcasting, and distribution.
• Creative problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous problem areas with ease to develop, plan, and execute achievable program roadmaps, aligned with company objectives.
• Excellent organization and documentation skills, prior experience contributing to the enhancement of a centralized product management function is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively and comfortably in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• User centric, with deep empathy for users' needs and experiences, with a focus on delivering intuitive and value-added products.
• Ability to listen, probe, analyze, and confirm … sometimes what the client or user requests, is not what they truly need.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:
• Working understanding of cloud- based SaaS production functionality, ST2110, NDI, SRT, production needs for live sports, news, and other events, remote integration model (REMI)-based production, Virtual Reality (VR) graphics, and Augmented Reality (AR) graphics.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
• PMP, Agile, or Scrum Certifications
• Proficiency with Atlassian Confluence, Jira, and Analytics.
