Job Description
Your New Role…

As a member of the data platforms team you will be play a critical role in developing and improving the first party data platform to insure that internal data consumers have the data they need at their disposal. This platform provides first party stakeholders with business critical telemetry concerning user engagement across all major digital platforms (Web, Mobile, SmartTV etc.) with the goal of creating a single self-service data environment that encourages collaborators to use these data to make business critical decisions. This role will focus on collaborating with product managers, analysts and data scientists covering a wide range of business units across the enterprise with a diverse range of needs to increase data quality and the overall performance of the data platform. This will include administrative duties, to keep data warehouse spend under control, optimization of the ETL pipelines and rigorous focus on identifying opportunities to improve the quality and trust of the data.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for the data platfor m
• U se your experience and expertise to implement best practices in our data stack; modeling, testing, observability, etc…
• Design and build data models in Snowflake utilizing DBT and other data manipulation tools.
• Ensure our build, development, and deployment pipelines are run smoothly and are easy to work with for all technical stakeholders
• Setup and m onitor Snowflake workloads to help stakeholders optimize their pipelines within the data platform . Preventing them from experiencing performance bottlenecks or other technical hurdles.
• Provide technical mentorship to other Sr engineers on the team.

Qualifications & Experience...
• E xpertise with Snowflake or another cloud Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.
• Experience in driving success by applying engineering principles and analytics.
• Experience with operations for highly available, critical data systems, including incident management and response.
• Experience developing in AWS or other cloud environment
• Demonstrated expertise with SQL, Python
• Experience with orchestration tools such as AirFlow
• Excellent written, oral and visual communication skills
• Experience with maintaining Git based DevOps workflows and automation preferred
• Familiarity or previous experience with ETL automation tools such as DBT preferred
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK preferred

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $156,800.00 - $291,200.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
