The Job
The Senior Project Manager position will provide planning and management of projects in the Strategy Execution Office (SEO) of Global Information & Content Security. This role will report directly to the Director, Strategy Execution Office, and manage, planned and ad hoc, strategic projects using PMI, Scrum, or hybrid frameworks. The Strategy Program Manager may also recover projects severely off track. As a member of the SEO, this individual will also help the GICS Strategy Execution Office in strategic planning, prioritization, monitoring, and progress reporting against the strategic plan. When needed, this individual will also augment the project/program management team for other GICS groups.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Manage the full lifecycle of GICS projects
• Manage the onboard and offboard of contractors; conduct recurring meetings to ensure alignment of expectations on deliverables and delivery quality.
• Coordinate the execution and optimization of projects designed to meet strategic goals on schedule, and within budget. This includes right-sizing work packages, sprints, sequencing, prioritizing, managing against external timelines, monitoring, and delivering performance metrics.
• Work cross-divisionally and closely, with IT Infrastructure, Digital Product Development, and InfoSec SMEs to coordinate the planning, scheduling, testing, and reporting of projects and programs.
• Employ technical knowledge and meeting facilitation skills to use tools and techniques to expedite project decision-making and solutions to project management challenges. (Ex: brainstorming, consensus building, vote, comparison matrix.)
• Gather inputs and prepare documentation or briefings for/from technical review and status meetings, to technical and non-technical audiences; including executive review meetings.
• Collaborate with the Strategy Execution office to establish standards and procedures for project delivery, metrics, reporting and documentation, drive maturity in adoption of project management processes within the InfoSec team.
• Backfill or augment tower project management function and lead operational efficiency practices used by SEO, InfoSec Operations & IAM, and Application, Product & Cloud Security.
• Collaborate, influence, and negotiate effectively with tactical levels and functions of internal business teams around strategy planning and development. Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals and cross functional teams is essential.
• Integrate project team change management process to the WBD process to ensure adherence to T&O Service Management standards.
• Facilitate meetings for project managers, project team, 3rd party vendors, and/or partners to ensure optimum participation, desired outcomes achieved, meetings are documented, and meetings complete on-time.
• Proactively identify, manage, and monitor all schedule, scope, resource, budget, quality and dependency risks to projects. Programs and portfolio.
• Manage the interface between InfoSec team projects and partners, and timely communication and escalation of risks. Assist SEO Director in continuously monitoring risks and issues across the GICS portfolio.
• Manage stakeholder communication, developing project stakeholder communication plans, where applicable.
• Document, gather, maintain and project artifacts and repository.
• The Essentials
• 5+ years of Information Technology Project delivery experience in a high tech, fast paced environment.
• Experience effectively managing multiple, concurrent security/technology projects involving cross-functional groups.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, familiarity with cybersecurity operations & solutions.
• Good decision-making, consensus building and conflict management skills. Must be able to communicate and act upon risks appropriately, exhibiting appropriate levels of urgency.
• Good analytical and communication skills, and a risk mitigation mindset.
• Possess one or more industry credentials: PMP, CSM, ITIL, CISM, CISA and/or CISSP certifications.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), ServiceNow, and Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, etc.
• Financial management and ROI analytical skills; good understanding of budgets.
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), product development, and comfort with related technical concepts and terminology.

The Nice to Haves
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience as a business systems analyst, application engineering or security, product engineering or security, or cloud engineering or security highly desired.
