Your New Role:
Global Privacy Services is a centralized team of privacy professionals who work alongside lawyers, product and data teams to drive compliance across the entire enterprise. The team provides privacy services in
O perations, Compliance ,
OneTrust Platform , Projects and Vendor Privacy.
The team is a part of Warner Bros Discovery Technology & Operations, sitting alongside core HR, Financial, Legal and Data systems as an enterprise service. Privacy needs run across the entire enterprise, and the team is set up to deliver globally.
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Vendor Privacy to develop and lead a V endor P rivacy P rogram that will help the company better monitor and govern the personal information used in vendor relationships across the enterprise, as it's shared or transferred for diverse purposes including advertising, marketing, compliance, or internal initiatives.
Applicants to this role should expect to work collaboratively with privacy professionals, lawyers, procurement, information security, product and technology stakeholders on data-driven vendor governance and compliance initiatives across Warner Bros Discovery's business.
Your Role Accountabilities:
• Maintain central views and records of vendor data use and associated contracts
• Enable consent, digital advertising and marketing solutions for tech and business teams
• D rive privacy compliant configuration of WBD solutions
• Implement WBD privacy standards and governance across WBD's teams and vendors
• Define and execute strategic Vendor Privacy projects
• Lead a team of Data & Privacy Professionals
• Develop and curate central records of vendor data use and f lows , including classification of vendors under privacy law
• Make continuous improvements to central records of vendor data use, mapping and classification across the enterprise
• Support the completion of privacy risk assessments
• Partner with tech and business teams on the design and configuration of consent, digital advertising and marketing solutions
• D rive configuration of WBD solutions (web, mobile, connected device) in line with legal, vendor and platform requirements
• Understand and communicate privacy requirements to internal and vendor partners
• Drive compliance with relevant policies and standards across platforms , products and vendors , including execution of training programs
• Set project goals and strategy, serve as an escalation point for leadership teams, and communicate status to executive level stakeholders
• Oversee and execute day to day project management for large scale projects, including plan creation, workstream management, stakeholder follow-up, status and issue resolution
Qualifications & Experiences:
• Bachelor's Degree
or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years professional experience in privacy or related field a
• Experience defining strategic data priorities and executing priorities through oversight of projects
• Experience leading operational teams
• Privacy compliance experience, working with key regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc ).
• Knowledge of advertising industry standards, vendors and methodologies
• Knowledge of data platforms / environments in the entertainment/telecom sectors
• Advanced MS Office skills
