of Program Management to join the streaming DTC Product Operations Team for our suite of products .
Position Summary
The Release Planning and Comms Team is responsible for building and driving standardized and efficient processes and tools that ensure product releases are well planned, high quality, clearly communicated and celebrated, and effective drivers of the overall Global Product and Design vision. The Senior Manager of Release Planning and Comms will be an experienced leader t hat will guide th e team and matur e its' services , while influencing upstream release health and stability with partners in Global Tech.
This leader will work with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve issues within upcoming release cycles and play a key role in defining
our standard release
operating procedures to best meet the needs of our Global Product and De sign Organization . This includes and is not limited to 1) leading the team through automation and tooling improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy , 2) solving for mechanism adoption challenges across a large p roduct
organization , 3) ensuring
our cross-functional
organization is well informed on what is launching, when, and where across our entire suite of products , and 4) Leading the Product and Design organization through new region expansion launches across the globe .
A successful person in this role will have strong program management , strategic thinking, and people-leadership skills , in-depth release management experience and superior communication skills, both in writing and verbally . They will build effective and productive relationships by fostering trust and communicating clearly. They will be organized, have a bias to act quickly, enjoy diving into details and data and be curious to learn all facets
of the program , with a passion for driving program maturation . They will also be bold to advise leadership on what can be improved, what the team needs to thrive, and what activities should be prioritized .
What you will do
• Lead a team of experienced Program Managers, including coaching and development, workload management, etc.
• Drive strategy for how we plan , release , and communicate newly developed products and features from a Product and Design team point of view.
• Establish the vision and roadmap for the Release Planning and Comms team.
• Lead the team through business reviews with leadership.
• D rive a scalable , highly visible, and well-respected Product Release Program
• Drive strategy for adoption of mechanisms which enable program success .
• Develop a retrospective program to support a culture of continuous improvement.
• Foster effective collaboration and systems that help teams execute and improve their workstreams.
• Lead cross-functional teams through operational changes to drive effective and efficient workstreams.
What you will need to have
• 10 + years of relevant experience as a program or project manager.
• People management experience
• Experience delivering results through a team
• Experience contributing in valued roles on high profile, multi-faceted programs.
• Experience working with senior and/or executive leadership.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of follow-through.
• A love of working closely with others to empower them to excel.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
