The Job

As the Sr Manager, Media Data Solutions and Engineering you are a visionary and experienced leader tasked with developing scalable end-to-end marketing data and analytics solutions, supporting global marketing teams. Your goal is to champion data-driven storytelling and create a self-service environment for marketers to understand the effectiveness of their marketing efforts. You are adept at relational data modeling and architecture, data normalization, wrangling, and transformations using a variety of data tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Alteryx, etc.), ETL principals and best practices, as well as building reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.).

You have hands-on experience with digital marketing, social, and advertising technologies and datasets. You will work closely with marketers, analysts, data engineers, and senior leadership to define KPIs and implement robust data pipelines, semantic data layers and dashboards that enable our global marketing teams and stakeholders with analytical solutions, to empower data-driven strategies & decisions.

The Daily

Business Enablement
• Coordinate with other global marketing, analytics, and technology teams to identify innovative data solutions that meet fluctuating and rapidly evolving goals and objectives.
• Work closely with marketing business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver insightful and effective dashboards and data visualizations.
• Manage business requirements and KPIs of our stakeholders to establish the logical data definitions

Data Architecture and Visualization Development
• Develop/manage scalable data models, relational semantic layers and aggregate datasets using SQL and solid ETL principles in Snowflake to solve specific problems or new initiatives, and enable performant and flexible reporting underlying our visualizations
• Develop effective reporting solutions to empower data-driven strategies & decisions for global marketing teams
• Design data solutions to ensure data integrity throughout the data pipelines and support a single source-of-truth for all marketing data
• Deliver solutions to democratize data globally, cross-functionally, and across our ecosystem
• Support the adoption and training of our data products for self-service data discovery and reporting

Leadership
• Lead and mentor a team of Analytics Engineers to support each individual's career growth, while continuing to execute on the team's goals
• Partner closely with peers to knowledge share and strategize in collaboration

Research
• Continually research and improve new methods and enhancements to our data architecture, data pipelines, and analytic solutions
• Identify new and emerging technologies, methods, trends and techniques
• Rapidly deliver on new concepts through prototyping that can be presented for feedback and iteration

The Essentials
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineer, Mathematics or similar required. Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of relevant experience in delivering business intelligence and dashboard solutions
• 4+ years of managing and mentoring direct reports and setting performance goals
• Effectively manage multiple stakeholders and expectations around critical deadlines and deliverables
• Expertise in data visualization design (in Looker is a bonus)
• Experience working with relational databases and data warehousing (Snowflake, Big Query)
• Understanding of digital marketing, social, and advertising technologies, such as Google Marketing Platform, Google Ad Manager, Social Ad Managers, AppsFlyer, and/or Braze
• Understanding of the digital media ecosystem and subscription business model
• Pro-actively takes initiative with excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficient in data manipulation/wrangling technologies (SQL)
• Expert in analyzing, interpreting, joining and staging data
• Proven ability to collaborate with key partners and stakeholders to define metrics, identify requirements and solve problems independently
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned
• Willingness to learn quickly and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively teach and train others in analytics and data visualization best practices
• Able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, when necessary

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $126,000.00 - $234,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
