Your New Role...
The Director, Infrastructure & Operations is accountable for overseeing end-to-end delivery of Voice and Data Infrastructure services in support of Warner Bros. Discovery production and associated business operations, located within Warner Bros Discovery production locations, core campus's as well as global offices and remote temporary locations.
In this position, you will work closely within Warner Bros Discovery's Technology and Operations Teams and be responsible ensuring that the infrastructure needs are fully addressed, from inception to requirement gathering to delivery and ongoing support. The Director, Infrastructure & Operations will also be accountable for ensuring third parties and partners delivery of services are to budgets whilst being timely, all while ensuring that quality and business agility needs are fully addressed.
This full-time position requires a candidate who is confident at communicating effectively to executive management and to a wide, diverse team, is flexible, pro-active, efficient, organized and can work using their own initiative. Additionally, the ability to juggle effectively, project manage multiple tasks and initiatives from multiple individuals and to be one step ahead is essential.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Operational management of technical teams and direction of cross-functional teams / internal partners. Including reporting of service metrics ensuring optimum utilization of resources.
• Development and implementation of service improvements via process or technical initiatives in line with production, divisions, or company strategies.
• Accountable for relevant projects involving services under Director's remit including but not limited to technical initiatives, business and studio / production modernizations and business expansion.
• Maintain operational relationships with key partners within production, studio operations, internal technical support partners and global operations to understand, deliver and support production and business requirements.
Qualifications & Experiences...
• Extensive and proven knowledge of network (LAN/WAN/WLAN) connectivity and support including troubleshooting, testing and application networking.
• 15 years' + experience of working within technical operations and complex projects.
• Comprehensive experience in a customer service orientated environment and working alongside outsourced technical teams.
• Proven track record of managing staff and teams within a global business.
• Experience of working within a managed service environment.
• Excellent and proven communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Strong background in technical project management
• Demonstrable experience of working within technical environments within a multinational company and outsourced services. in the media sector, preferably working in the film/television production.
• Experience in working within studio environments and associated financial operating models.
