Your Role
The Senior Analyst, Intercompany & Eliminations will be a part of the team responsible for overseeing intercompany processes at the global consolidation level of the Company, assisting with intercompany reconciliation processes required to generate financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Monitoring of intercompany accounts (Balance Sheet and P&L) and research/resolution of outages through collaboration/coordination across multiple teams around the world
• Responsible for maintaining, running and distribution of intercompany related reporting to the controllership teams to facilitate resolution of outages
• Provides audit and other documentation as requested from internal and external auditors (including SOX controls), tax, financial planning and analysis, etc.
• Prepares analyses for the intercompany reconciliation process
• Prepares consolidation journal entries, system reconciliations, and other ad hoc requests as necessary on a timely and accurate basis
Qualifications & Experience...
• Minimum of 3 years of experience and a strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), IFRS, and SOX requirements
• Experience with the preparation of financial statements
• BS/BA in related discipline from an accredited university
• CPA license (or equivalent) attained or progress toward attainment.
• Proficient in English
• Detailed-oriented with a strong desire to meet deadlines and other relevant performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, accuracy and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Mental agility to prioritize and execute independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Not Required but preferred experience:
• Big 4 / Public accounting background
• Experience with the financial consolidation of an SEC registrant
• Experience working directly with external auditors to resolve complex accounting and reporting issues
• ERP system experience, preferably SAP
