Your New Role...

As a member of WBD's Global Information and Content Security (GICS) team, the Senior Distribution Security Technology Analyst role will provide insights to content protection technologies leveraged by WBD's digital streaming and TVE platforms to help inform decisions to protect our IP from content theft/piracy. This will involve data analysis as well as supporting testing of different security components of the services. The ability to work directly with the different stakeholders, at all levels, across the WBD Technology organization is crucial.
Our ideal team member will have the mathematical and statistical expertise but also a natural curiosity and creative mind. As you mine, interpret, and scrub data, we will rely on you to ask questions, connect the dots, and uncover opportunities.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Performs data analysis of logs and data sets to identify trends and threats to WBD's streaming and TVE platforms.
• Create executive level reporting and presentations using data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of content protection technologies in a streaming environment, including DRM technologies, and application security.
• Remain current on piracy/content theft threats and trends impacting video streaming & TVE platform that store and stream content.
• Deconstruct and investigate tools used to facilitate content theft from streaming & TVE platforms.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to analyze current state, identify risks and pain points, and collaboratively develop solutions

Qualifications & Experiences...
• 5-7 years of experience in the technology space, preferably working with video streaming platform. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience using databases and organizing data sets.
• Manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
• Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using various data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and programming languages (i.e., Java/Python, SAS, R)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to produce presentation decks, and briefs to executive-level management.
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.

This position is required to work in person at one of our locations in the United States. WBD requires anyone working in our workplaces in the US to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
