Warner Bros. International Television Distribution is one of the world's largest distributors of feature films, television programs and animation to the international television marketplace (broadcast, pay cable, basic cable, satellite, pay-per-view, subscription video-on-demand, digital platforms, etc.). It licenses some 61,000 hours of programming (including more than 6,500 features and 3,000 television programs, comprised of tens of thousands of individual episodes), dubbed or subtitled in more than 40 languages, to telecasters and cable casters in more than 175 countries.

Global Business Services (GBS) is WarnerMedia global shared services accounting team. The team serves to provide efficient and scalable global finance and accounting services to the WarnerMedia Group of Companies. The company seeks a detailed, proactive, team-oriented, able to critically think and work independently Senior Financial Analyst, for the International Television Distribution Department. This position includes but is not limited to responsibilities of Monthly Closes, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Participations & Audit inquiries support.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Responsible for Participations audits requests from FCRA. Responsibilities include: meeting with the FCRA and external auditor; provide responses to audit requests, manage the audit request list to ensure timely closure of request.
• WH Tax Responsibilities include: Monthly Gross Up journal entry for missing tax certificates, review of annual WH Tax receipt package/reconciliation provided to the Corporate Tax dept; and ensure collected certificates are applied timely in the ledger.
• Managing and reviewing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider deliverables as needed
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly deliverables; by-title reporting, Balance Sheet, P&L, footnote disclosures, and supplemental schedules
• Work closely with Studio Controllership and SDC staff to ensure that all transactions pertaining to the period are being processed and any outstanding issues are being documented, followed up and resolved timely.
• Complete the monthly AR Securitization reporting.
• Managing and reviewing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider deliverables as needed
• Assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley key controls and financial audit requests (including statutory audits for international territories)
• Make recommendations on process improvements and standardization to gain greater efficiency and effectiveness within the finance organization.
• Other special projects as required.

Qualifications & Experience
• 3+ years previous work experience in an accounting or finance field.
• Highly motivated, analytical, proactive, and self-sufficient
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with people on all levels, in person, via email or other digital format and on the telephone.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
• Must have the ability to multi-task projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize.
• Must be able to adapt in a changing environment and quickly learn new concepts, solve problems, and implement solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Must be able to work reasonable overtime, if necessary.
• Previous ''Big 4'' accounting experience preferred.
• Working in shared service and/or outsourcing environment is a plus.
• Experience working with large amounts of data preferred.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Project Management skills a plus
• BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Experience working with large amounts of data preferred.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Working in shared service and/or outsourcing environment is a plus.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $62,797.00 - $116,624.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
