Software Engineer

Job Description

Engineering & Implementation:
- Contribute to feature development within our CMS platform for editors and product teams to configure, launch, and monitor A/B and multivariate tests
- Assist in building web-based tools and backend APIs that support content experiments and performance analysis
- Collaborate on UI components and backend logic that enable editors to create, run, and monitor tests
Learn to write clean, maintainable code while following team conventions and guidance
Contribute to testing coverage, QA analysis, and code reviews to ensure production readiness
Collaboration & Delivery:
- Partner closely with peer engineers to learn and build experimentation systems, from architectural design to iterative feature development to production release
- Partner with product and analytics leads to define and deliver high-impact testing features
- Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to develop team delivery skills
- Ask questions, seek feedback, and contribute to team knowledge-sharing and documentation
Mentorship & Growth:
- Receive coaching and technical guidance from experienced engineers
- Pair program and shadow teammates to deepen your understanding of experimentation services and platform-level engineering
- Embrace a growth mindset and take advantage of learning opportunities across CNN and WBD technical teams
