Your New Role

Negotiates acquisition or sale of literary material, employment of above-the-line personnel agreements, licensing arrangements; assists in the preparation of agreements, financial reports, production reports and budgets; and pre-production deals.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Responsible for the negotiation of material live-action feature film deals and business relationships; including deals to acquire and develop film properties, co-production, distribution deals, output deals, first look deals, talent agreements, and other agreements for the ancillary exploitation of intellectual property.
• Duties also include providing guidance on feature film business affairs matters for development, production, post production and distribution.
• Participate in negotiations for above the line motion picture agreements for actors, directors, writers and producers and rights holders and related matters.
• Participate in negotiation of feature film acquisition agreements for theatrical films.
• Oversee business affairs administration activities including contractual obligations and commitments, deal memo oversight and reconciliation, payments and schedules, associated reporting requirements, budget review, union and guild obligations.
• Work with numerous departments in coordinating production issues on pictures in production.
• Interacts with the Warner Bros. legal department in handling production legal, litigation, copyright and trademark, music, and rights and clearance matters

Qualifications and Experience
• 10-15 years previous recent business affairs experience preferably in major studio live-action feature development and production of films in all budget ranges including high budget films
• BA/BS in Business or related field required.
• JD strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of general business practices.
• Knowledge of film production techniques and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels.
• Knowledge of the entertainment industry.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and evaluate subordinates.
• Ability to plan and schedule the work of others.
• Knowledge of budget preparation methods.
• Ability to read and understand business contracts.
• Knowledge of negotiation techniques and procedures.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $323,820.00 - $601,380.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Salary Details
Salary Range: $323,820 to $601,380 Per Year ($ USD)
