Primary Responsibilities
• Be part of a 24/7 operations team for a media systems portfolio of on-prem and AWS applications
• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand business priorities
• Work with global content operations and engineering teams to resolve application and content related issues
• Monitor media workflows for the timely delivery of content to endpoints
• Run incident and problem management efforts of the team
• Act as an escalation point for support issues, lead the effort to resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis
• Help implement observability solutions for proactive and predictable operations

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in technology operations including on-call support and remote troubleshooting
• 5+ years of experience in media supply chain workflows, media file formats, media encoding, and content QC
• 5+ years of experience in supporting event-driven and REST API applications hosted on AWS
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries and specifically advanced SELECT/JOIN syntax
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and log aggregation tools
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to identify the root cause of an operational issue and suggest creative solutions
• Excellent customer focus and awareness of the importance of the customer in a service organization as well as ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Work off-hours occasionally, sometimes on short notice
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $109,900.00 - $204,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
