Job Description
As Senior Analyst Financial Planning and Analysis in our Content Team you will be supporting Regional Finance and Programming Operations Teams in building monthly forecasts and annual budgets. Grounded in the broader Content FP&A organization you will be the main point of contact for group of some of the most iconic TV brands.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Build monthly forecasts and annual budget for Content cost (Cost of Revenue)
• Prepare variance analysis to explain actual and forecasted performance of managed areas vs prior year/plan/prior forecast.
• Collaborate with Accounting Team on MEC related activities
• Participate in assigned meetings such as, but not limited to: Monthly Forecast closing / Actuals vs. Forecast Review, meetings with Operation Teams
• Maintain productive relationships with key contacts in regional Finance team and Central Finance Team to encourage the flow of information and share knowledge.
• Support development of systems, tools, and processes to facilitate efficient and accurate analysis.
Qualifications & Experience…
• 3-4 years of relevant FP&A experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines
• Motivated by dynamic, high-energy environment
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial data analysis tools and techniques
• Experience in Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning and SAP S4HANA are considered a plus.
