Your New Role...

Warner Bros. Digital Networks Inc. has an excellent growth opportunity for an entrepreneurial Manager to assist with various key functions that support advertising revenue recognition, financial reporting, sales billing, credit and collections, and monthly/quarterly closes. Individual will play an integral part of the order-to-cash process and support a very fast paced, constantly changing environment, high visibility area which includes the monetization of multiple Digital properties such as Ellen Digital Ventures, Extra, and YouTube. Uniquely, position will interact with all levels of Digital area including departments Sales, Client Solutions, Ad Operations and Strategic Finance. Individual will have a unique opportunity to gain insights into all aspects of the Digital business positioning them for long term growth in the future.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Responsible for Order to Cash processing including delivery uploads and invoicing
• Work with Ad Operations to obtain monthly delivery for upload, review for any discrepancies with what was entered into Operative One (CRM), and prepare necessary reports for invoicing
• Prepares monthly ad sales invoices as well as invoice revisions as necessary
• Manage manual invoice process for Ellen Digital Ventures and prepare necessary journal entries
• Prepares by-title advertising sales revenue reporting for the monthly and quarterly general ledger closes
• Responsible for summarizing by-title statistics from multiple sources in order to determine performance by property to accurately bill agencies, as well as, track and report sales activity
• Responding to ad agency and advertising partner questions, resolving problems and reconciling discrepancies in order to expedite collections
• Monitor and review the daily Cash Application performed by Global Business Services (GBS) cash team as well as provide coding instructions to cash team for cash receipts received related to O1 Ad Sales deals and Distribution Deal payments
• Collaborates with multiple Finance, Accounting, Ad Operations and Sales Departments in researching and identifying discrepancies in ad sales activity in order to perform necessary adjustments
• Assists multiple sales teams to ensure deadlines are met and client issues are communicated
• Liaisons with Ad Operations group to facilitate indirect and other third-party reporting
• Prepares and parks billing, adjustments, and revenue journal entries to the SAP general ledger system including creation of supporting schedules
• Assist Director, Accounting with Credit and Collections functions such as managing and entering new client request forms into Salesforce and following up on past due invoices
• Prepares monthly/quarterly accounting close schedules for submission to other business units, including Global Business Services (GBS):
• Prepare reconciliation of Accounts Receivables with payments received
• Processes additions and changes to client billing information via Winshuttle and SAP, under supervision of Director, Accounting, and maintains all databases/mapping tables required to generate monthly invoices and revenue recognition entries
• Assists in performing monthly Operative One billing vs. SAP variance reconciliation to properly account for and report on revenues recognized outside of the billing system
• Assists with the design, implementation, and ongoing development of ad sales support systems
• Assists in fielding and responding to requests regarding participant audits, external and internal auditors for financial reporting and compliance audits/reviews and assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and testing
• Continuously assesses processes to make recommendations to implement improvements that will gain efficiencies, streamline workflow, and improve reporting
• Performs other special projects, ad-hoc reconciliations and journal entries as assigned

Qualifications & Experience...
• Minimum 3 years of accounting, financial analysis, financial/sales reporting experience required
• Previous finance/research/sales analysis experience is required
• Entertainment industry experience, preferably in the area of barter or digital/online advertising or television syndication, a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance required
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices required
• Advanced proficiency in Excel required
• Advance knowledge developing & utilizing pivots and lookups on Excel required
• General knowledge & understanding of accounting principles required
• Thorough knowledge of the general ledger closing process required
• Understand the principles of accounting (GAAP) required
• SAP or other ERP system experience preferred
• Understanding of ''Studio System'' and/or Entertainment Corporate Culture
• Operative One ad trafficking system and Salesforce experience welcomed
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
