Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst in Streaming segment will be responsible for providing timely and accurate forecasting, reporting and analysis for Warner Bros. Discovery Streaming Distribution revenues and key metrics, working with business finance counterparts to gather inputs and understand drivers. You will develop deep competencies in this area, providing business and finance stakeholders the required information for decision making.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Support stakeholders' reporting and analysis needs by designing, building, and maintaining Oracle EPM-driven reporting covering Regional Distribution Revenue and Subscribers at various granularities, with variance analysis vs Prior Forecast, Budget, Prior Year, etc,
• Support EMEA HBO MAX reporting package, including consolidation of distribution revenue and key KPIs at the very granular level,
• Work with business finance partners to collect forecast submission of distribution revenues with key KPIs for Streaming International markets and upload data to the system,
• Support D+ APAC revenue modelling with a focus on collecting Streaming KPIs along with revenue inputs for retail and partners,
• Being subject matter expert and 'go to person' for Global DTC module, including support of users with templates creation, uploads of global DTC distribution revenues, cost of revenues, and KPIs into Oracle EPM,
• Being responsible to proactively identify and raise system's issues / enhancements, making sure system is properly set up to support forecasting and budgeting process,
• Running PTI UAT test cases with taking ownership of testing phase, by checking progress with development team, following up on bug fixes, and reporting UAT statuses to project team when needed,
• Manage Ad Hoc analysis and financial data requests as needed, generating insights,
• Drive process simplification initiatives. Collaborate across boundaries and share best practices with other FP&A teams.
Qualifications & Experience…
• At least 4 years' experience in FP&A or related positions
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proficiency in excel and other data analysis techniques. Demonstrated experience in financial modelling
• Critical thinker and strong problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to frame issues, articulate findings and present optimal solutions.
• Proven ability to build confidence and trust with department members and external business partners.
• Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines.
• Motivated by challenging, high-energy environment.
• Solid understanding of streaming business preferred.
• Experience in using one of the ERP systems as SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle is a plus
