Your New Role
This position is responsible for assisting in the oversight of WBD's Corporate Affairs and Security annual budget/ LRP and monthly forecasts ($200M+ operating / capital). This position will also partner with the COE on headcount analysis and reporting for over 900 employees. This position serves as the business partner / financial advisor for achievement of financial goals preparing ad hoc analysis for management to make key business decisions and meeting directly with Senior level executives and their respective teams. This position partners with COE support on direction for headcount and operating expenses and is responsible for metrics analysis, variance analysis, scorecards, indirect allocations and executive reporting.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Financial Advisor / business partner for Corporate WBD Executive leadership team supporting Corp Comm and Security ($200M / 900 FTE) partnering with the director finance to meet with senior leaders / pending complexity will determine split of work and support of respective management teams. Partner with operations to identify savings opportunities, identify / implement process improvements, track savings in forecast / budget / IMO, drive harmonization across legacy companies, provide ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Forecast, budget and long range planning – prepare budgets, forecasts and all associated financial analysis and the presentation to executive level management – partner with operations, COE, P&C, Accounting and other supporting functions as needed. Requires a keen understanding of multiple different financial systems across various legacy systems.
• Assist the Director finance with managing and providing guidance to COE support for operating and headcount expense. Act in a supportive leadership role, provide guidance and review the work of the COE support staff.
• Process improvement – recommend, develop and implement new techniques, policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
• 3+ years Finance / Accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and in-depth process improvement skills.
• Advanced analytical skills supported by proficiency in MS Office applications and ESSBASE/Hyperion applications
• The successful candidate will place a high emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and process innovation
