Your New Role
The Warner Bros. Feature Film Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will provide traditional finance support related (but not limited) to financial analysis, reporting, modeling, and presentation deck building. The SFA will collaborate with individuals across the Film Group, other divisions and WBD Corporate in driving projects forward and helping senior leadership achieve business goals.
Your Role Accountabilities
Slate Summaries – Prepare summary reports for past, present & future year slates.
• Run SAP data reports and review cube data versus division submissions. Work with FP&A / divisions to reconcile differences and make corrections.
• Update Ultimate Database for latest film ultimates and residuals, mirroring LRP and overriding data when material pending changes arise.
• Collaborate with FP&A to reconcile and address differences between Financial Investment Analysis (FIA) slates and FP&A reporting.
• Use participation statements to review talent calculations and align FIA models accordingly.
• Create proforma slates and underlying proforma film models as needed, reflecting the newest assumptions / dating changes, and resulting P&L. Create slates by product line or genre (DC, Horror, Family, WIP, New Line, etc.).
Ultimates Reports – Provide 3rd Party reporting to co-financiers as contractually obligated (monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually).
• Run SAP data reports.
• Update Ultimate Databases (New & Old) as well as residuals.
• Provide actual to ultimate comparisons on a by-request basis.
Ad Hoc Film Analytics – Contribute to the following activities:
• Analyze Operating Income & Cash Flow impact based on film model updates, LRP revisions, marketing spend changes, impairments, etc.
• Maintain Benefit (Cost) of Co-financing schedules for co-finance partners.
• Develop proforma slates and make necessary film model adjustments based on various fee structures, investment percentages, or performance assumptions.
• Prepare talent & co-financier participation projections.
• Evaluate metric comparisons for Greenlight vs. Budget vs. Current Plan.
• Other projects as directed / identified.
Strategic & Special Projects Support – Contribute to the following activities:
• Gather and summarize data for presentation materials, business reviews, etc.; work with FP&A / divisions as necessary.
• Track synergy initiative performance; collaborate with the Integration Management Office (IMO) and stakeholders across Film Group and WBD; address other IMO-related projects as necessary.
• Prepare monthly update of industry release schedule summary with assistance from Domestic Distribution team.
• Assist with developing and maintaining Film Finance standardized reporting and related reporting efforts.
• Other projects as directed / identified.
Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum 2 - 4 years' experience in private and/or public accounting, finance, consulting, banking, or media related field.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related area preferred.
• MBA or CPA a plus.
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and Excel skills.
• Excellent written/oral communication, financial presentation, and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinker and problem solver with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborator / Team focused / Fast learner / Positive attitude / Proactive.
• Financial database experience a plus (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, Hyperion, TM1).
• Media or Studios experience preferred.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $72,247.00 - $134,172.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
