Your New Role:

The Sr. Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing extensive financial and operational data that supports the Financial Contract Reporting & Administration (FCRA), utilizing various tools and techniques to communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences. The scope of responsibility includes mapping and cleansing large and complex sets of data, which will often require extensive research and follow-up with subject matter experts. The Sr. Data Analyst is also responsible for supporting the operations, testing, and sometimes re-platforming existing Excel and VBA-based tools by leveraging data analytics solutions such as Tableau.

The Sr. Data Analyst should have experience working in a similar organization or possess prior consulting experience demonstrating the ability to initiate process transformations through analytics. In addition, the candidate must have exemplary Excel skills and be able to fully leverage all features of the application, including, but not limited to, large data set manipulation, complex formula creation, and possess expert proficiency with the Visual Basics language that supports Excel.

Your Role Accountabilities:
• Support operations in maintaining, developing, testing, and improving Excel, VBA, and Python-based tools and facilitate their transition to enterprise-supported solutions. Additionally, collaborate with the Data Management team to comprehend their needs and enhance Tableau's proactive data analytics data, tools, and processes.
• Act as the point person for data validation and UAT testing, you will oversee the implementation of incremental improvements to the data landscape and data warehouse. This process will involve cleaning, mapping, and validating existing datasets and deploying solutions within Tableau.
• Conduct analytics, review tickets, and perform data cleanups for FCRA projects and operations, such as Electronic Statement Delivery Projects and Stakeholder Management.
• Participate in the governance of user-supported business tools such as JIRA, eDocs, and SharePoint. Develop expertise in these tools and participate in projects related to upgrades or implementations. Additionally, participate in the process of selecting additional business-led tools for FCRA use.
• Collaborate with DDM and members of the FCRA reporting teams to understand and support their requirements with respect to business data and analytics.
• Determine the optimal approach for re-platforming the existing tools and recommend alternative solutions to replace them. Moreover, the Senior Data Analyst will aid in maintaining, testing, and occasionally re-platforming Excel, VBA, and Python-based tools that leverage data analytic solutions like Tableau.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in data analysis, analytics, and data visualization.
• Previous Entertainment industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Previous management of complex datasets or databases experience preferred.
• Previous experience creating presentation/training decks/materials.
• Strong Proficiency with Excel, Visual Basics and Python programing.
• Previous experience presenting to various staff levels, leading meetings & trainings, etc.
• Experience with system implementations and testing is preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment. Interacting with management across multiple organizational areas.
