About You:

​ ​ Our Enterprise Data & Shared Services team is searching for an individual who is proficient leading a team of cloud engineers to provide the optimal cloud service and support for different types of enterprise applications.



​ You will be responsible for the creation, migration, support of applications hosted in the cloud. The support includes governance of cloud accounts, resource compliance, well architected framework, and compute and cost optimizations. We are looking for a leader and a team player who Acts as One Team and is also eager to learn new technologies and ready to Create What's Next.

Responsibilities
• Create architectural diagrams for new cloud applications and propose cloud services best used for the application needs.
• Migrate applications from
on-premises to the cloud while design the optimal cloud architecture that is secure, cost effective, and highly available.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues during installation and post go-live.
• Comprehend existing architectural diagrams to propose re-platforming opportunities.
• Monitor cloud consumption and improve resource efficiency. Work with each application teams on governance and cost optimization, including right sizing EC2, S3 life cycle policies, savings plans, reserved instances, etc.
• Use Terraform to manage cloud resources and manage tags for efficiency and reporting.
• Design and review backup and DR strategies.
• Champion security and governance to ensure all resources in the platform follow the company security guidelines.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
• Meet with clients to understand business priorities and propose solutions.
• Work with Jira and update knowledge in Confluence.
• Manage service requests or issues in Service Now.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar discipline
• 8+ years of experience working as a cloud engineer, developer, or architect.
• 3+ years of experience leading a team.
• Possess the ability to prioritize, multitask and manage a heavy workload.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Drive to master emerging technologies and share experience with team members.
• Ability to understand goals, strategies, and needs of the business.
• Experience in setting up and supporting AWS accounts.
• Strong familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies
• Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Experience with programming language scripts such as python
• Expertise in building and managing large volume data processing platform.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins
• Extensive experience with GIT and GitHub.
• Experience in navigating and managing CMDB and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge in supporting EKS and Kubernetes
• Knowledge in writing SQL
• Understanding of OLAP databases such as Databricks, Snowflake or Redshift
• Experience with variety of data tools & frameworks (example: Apache Airflow)
• Experience with Datadog is preferred.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI is preferred.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification
• Ability to provide 24/7 support.
