Job Description

Your New Role...

This role will support Warner Bros. Discovery Global Brands and Experiences Royalty Department with contractual reporting to talent that provide services and create new characters between WB Pictures, Animation, Television, Consumer Products and Games. Primary focus is supporting talent reporting for DC Comics however, this position also serves as liaison with FCRA and CP in developing solutions for new participation reporting requirements and ensuring compliance with existing participation reporting needs.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Royalty/Participation Statements
• Prepare high dollar/complex/high visibility participations royalty statements
• Perform current and historical data analysis and verify that reporting is in accordance with contractual agreements
• Research variance analysis using SAP and/or other line of business components to review other underlaying transactional activity

Contractual Management
• Works closely with Business Affairs, Legal and Editorial Administration to ensure all contractual and financial obligations are met
• Read and understand abstracts, legal agreements and other related written documentation
• Provide support to auditors and ensuring compliance

Business Analysis & Special Projects
• Works with technology team to identify and test royalty system enhancements and improve business processes
• Assist in designing new processes/systems/tools to implement process improvement and automation
• Partner with stakeholders to develop key reports to support changing business needs
• Prepare presentation to Executive management

Qualifications and Experience...
• 3-5 years in accounting, finance or audit
• Experience with royalties, participations or residuals preferred
• Previous experience with media, entertainment, retail, or consumer products industries preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or similar field required
• Advanced Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint required
• SAP experience preferred
• Superior communication and presentation skills; must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons at all levels
• High level of intellectual curiosity that sparks communication, collaboration, and innovation; must have a willingness to look beyond surface requirements.
• Ability to adapt and be agile amongst a changing environment and to translate complex problems into solutions
• Willingness to collaborate with management and peers to advance team and company goals
• High degree of emotional intelligence and ability to flourish under pressure
• Detail-oriented, but also able to summarize complex ideas succinctly and develop compelling narratives
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to expand knowledge relating to industry drivers and trends

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $54,600.00 - $101,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
