The Job

The Senior Analyst on this team requires use of research & data that covers content/media, digital & other adjacencies (retail, themed experiences, social, gaming etc). The Sr. Analyst will lead, with support, synthesized analysis and primary research for Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, and The Wizarding World.

This role tracks and analyzes global data related to Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, and Wizarding World brand performance, content & network performance (including Nielsen data, movie sales & box office data, SVOD performance data including HBOMax data), and performance on other adjacencies – all providing key strategic and actionable insights to key executives. This role is internal business-partner facing and requires the ability to communicate findings verbally and through data visualization.

This role plays a critical role in constructing reports, analysis and dashboards, in addition to creating narrative-driven presentations. It requires deploying analytical tools and metrics to help drive decision-making with actionable insights.

The Daily
• Build analysis and performance assessments for Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, and Wizarding World via equity tracking, 1st party HBOMax data analyses, & by utilizing disparate big data sources (including but not limited to Nielsen, SVOD, social, digital, POS NPD data, external market research, and Warner Bros. Discovery internal data). Glean actionable insights for key stakeholders.
• Construct presentations that communicate insights concisely & visually for non-technical business partners (creative professionals, external partners, retailers, licensees & internal executives). Give presentations to key stakeholders & executives.
• Understand the position of our brands in digital/social landscape, tracking their performance (Youtube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook) via digital metrics and social listening in partnership with Global Social Intelligence Team.
• Partner and collaborate with cross functional teams to create synthesized analyses that help underscore the strength of our brands and opportunities for our franchises.
• Trend identification work using many data sources to create annual trend presentations that include global data related to macro world events, macro consumer mindset, digital trends

The Essentials
• Minimum of 2-3 years in research or marketing with an emphasis on measurement and data analysis at an entertainment company or within an entertainment industry focused position.
• Bachelor's degree required with media, research, marketing or business degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Word). You must be able to do: Pivot Tables, Excel analysis formulas (VLOOKUP, COUNT, SUMIF, SUMPRODUCT, etc.) and formatting data, create and edit charts in Excel. Additionally, you must be able to do basic design, format and edit charts in Powerpoint.
• Familiarity with Nielsen Tools, Social Measurement, and/or Digital Analytics preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Skill set combination of quantitative, qualitative, consumer research, and media interests
• Strong analytical skills -- ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of data with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, and transform into meaningful, actionable information.
• Knowledgeable familiarity with Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, and The Wizarding World.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $47,460.00 - $88,140.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
