Your New Role...

The Senior Accountant, Studio Controllership, role reports to the Executive Director of Home Ent. Accounting and is responsible for managing the cash forecasting process for all of the domestic Home Entertainment business units. The role provides support for Financial Contract Reporting (''FCRA'') audit requests, 3rd party participation reporting managed by the group, and assists in special projects as assigned.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Provide support for FCRA audit requests.
• Audit requests are received on a routine basis. Coordinate with various teams to provide sufficient audit support to FCRA team and resolve follow-up questions.
• Independently perform research to resolve issues and questions as they arise.
• Manage the cash forecasting process for all of the domestic Home Entertainment business units.
• Prepare cash forecast for receipts and participations expense. Updated three times per month and reported to Executive Director.
• Provide explanations for material variances between actuals and forecast or cash collection and participations expense to Executive Director on monthly basis.
• Prepare quarterly pre-close pacing on cash receipts forecast.
• Upload forecast journal entry provided by the FP&A team monthly.
• Investigate cash ''c-items'' and perform reclass journal entries as needed.
• Provide the cash application team with coding to clear unidentified payments. Ensure payments are cleared in treasury clearing accounts.
• Provide support for 3rd party participation reporting.
• Prepares ad hoc reporting to support partners with questions on financial information as needed.
• Assist in special projects as assigned.
• Make recommendations to improve process efficiencies and develop/administer procedures and guidelines.
• Complete ad-hoc projects and analysis as determined by internal management.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in accounting or related financial area.
• Media and entertainment industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles that pertain to scope of work.
• Utilizes advanced analytical skills and draws keen insights from the data.
• Manages intermediate-level processes and projects with minimal input from others by taking proactive action to resolve general challenges.
• Bachelor's degree required with preferred major in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.
• • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and knowledge of SAP (including Business Warehouse).
• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers, other levels of personnel and outside clients.
• Successfully manages multiple deadline-driven projects.
• Uses thorough logic and methods as well as business knowledge to solve problems.
• Raises conflicts and concerns to supervisor; makes suggestions to management regarding how to resolve.
• Seeks to understand the broader business environment and to utilize these insights as appropriate.
• Embrace and thrive during change.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $62,797.00 - $116,624.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
