Job Description
General Summary:

The Production Senior Accountant will support the financial oversight and management of the budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking activities for Warner Bros. Discovery's local language film productions in China, Responsibilities include partnering with local production, Burbank home office, Business & Legal Affairs and various internal teams across Warner Bros. Discovery to develop, greenlight and deliver the local produced films.

Key Responsibilities:
• Advise teams to ensure overall WBD Global and production finance policies, procedures, and standard processes are established and adhered to
• Build and manage day-to-day relationships for local film productions
• Develop greenlight financial package and update according to the development changes
• Coordinate and review production budgets, provide recommendations and lead cost reporting meetings with production to analyze the current status of potential opportunities and risks and communicate key findings to partners accurately
• Analyze and accurately forecast Production Cash Flows
• Identify and analyze the cause of change between quarterly forecasts through ongoing meetings with production teams; communicate risks and opportunities, ensure that all data is accurately loaded and reported through various financial systems. Partner with Senior Director on findings and manage information to partners
• Efficiently review and analyze contracts in conjunction with Producers and Legal Affairs
• Touchpoint for 3rd party production finance counterparts regarding funding cash flows, budget, residuals, license fees, agency/package fees, and all pertinent production finance materials
• Lead the management of local vendor bidding process in compliance with WBD procurement policy. Support in vendor setup and maintenance.
• Manage and review the cost reimbursement from vendor, coordinate with other teams during the whole payment process. Work with other teams and providing services related to the accounting, treasury and tax as Company may request from time to time.

Experience required:
• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus; a focus in Finance or Accounting preferred
• 3-5 years of experience with at least 2 years in a role at the production or corporate level. The media/entertainment landscape will be a plus.
• Proficiency in a variety of systems: Windows Environment, Microsoft Excel required: high level Excel experience preferred (macros, pivot tables, lookup functions); Microsoft Word;
• Must be able to analyze financial data and prepare / review various types of financial information: reports, schedules etc.
