Job duties:
• You would write well researched original recipes in the Food Network brand style for our website, digital video department, television networks and Ad Sales Partners.
• Daily duties would include station set-up, recipe development, recipe writing, cross testing, frequent brainstorm meetings with the editorial and advertorial teams, compiling team shopping lists and station breakdown.
• You would also collaborate with others to evaluate recipes for taste and brand suitability.
• At times you would supervise and train interns and freelance recipe testers.
• This is an in-person position at our Test Kitchen in Manhattan. There will be occasional periods, though, where you will be expected to work from home based on production schedules.
Requirements:
• Must have a culinary degree or equivalent experience, plus two years restaurant or catering experience, along with recipe development and test kitchen experience.
• Must be able to write, prepare and evaluate recipes.
• Applicants will be required to demonstrate knowledge of baking fundamentals and should be familiar with a wide range of culinary styles.
• Basic photography and computer skills are also essential.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $54,600.00 - $101,400.00 salary per year.
