The Job

Warner Bros. Discovery seeks a Program Manager to operate within the Technical Program Management Group for the Global Customer Experience team.

As a program manager focused on client platforms and distribution channels, you will assist your allocated client platform execute feature delivery across multiple global software development teams in support of strategic partners. You'll work within an engineering group and interact primarily with engineers within your platform and group as well as stakeholders from product management, experience design, quality assurance, and release management to understand program delivery, process, strategy, requirements, and technical implementation details. You'll drive key program delivery deliverables, communicate regularly with stakeholders, and work with technical program managers on dependencies, risks, and escalations. You will be a key contact for the Client platform team to internal and external digital platform partners across the globe.

The Daily

In this role, you will help us to:
• Lead program delivery process and deliverables within your assigned client platform team to help delivery efficiency and predictability.
• Own the jira system process and hygiene for your assigned platform
• Own the process for software program delivery and status communications
• Co-own the platform specific roadmap and help schedule deliveries inline with TPM defined dependencies
• Work with cross functional TPM's and Platform Software Delivery Managers to facilitate and schedule work to develop key features and maintain quality partner integrations
• Formulate a regular demo of progress on how proposed features are being delivered to cross functional departments and teams
• Stay connected to other delivery partners by building solid relationships with key contacts and participating in regular syncs as a representative for the Direct to Consumer Technology organization
• Understand how partner features are delivering value to our customers and business using service metrics and KPIs
• React to and take ownership or items blocking the engineering delivery team through collaboration with TPM and SDM's to drive technical conversations with partners and engineering teams
• Share best practice and successful process with other program delivery managers and client platforms to drive efficiency and best practice adoption

The Essentials

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• 3+ years of experience in program management or a similar role (e.g., product management, technical project management)
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Analytical skills to dive into usage data and performance metrics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to target communications up, down, and across the organization and to external partners
• Systems thinking and a strong sense of ownership to drive complex programs with interdependencies that require definition from the ground up
• First-rate project management skills, including the ability to balance multiple, sometimes competing, priorities with date-driven timelines and a solid understanding of risk management
• Emotional intelligence and skills to influence outcomes, while building a culture of teamwork and inclusiveness
• Familiarity with digital subscription products and device partner platforms

The Nice to Haves
• Experience in a media/streaming video company
• Understanding of app store metrics and release mechanics
• Familiarity with app globalization
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence for work tracking
