Your New Role...

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join the WBD Sports Digital team as a Product Manager. As part of our product development team, this candidate will oversee the data strategy of the product development process, correlating information and talents from multiple teams and departments in order to maximize efficiency. They will also provide leadership and coordination between the various stakeholders like product, engineering, marketing, research, etc.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Provides strategic direction and oversight to product development teams.
• Identifies product needs by participating in ideations and research initiatives, then sharing insights with key stakeholders and development professionals.
• Defines the technical product roadmap, incorporating feedback from the leadership team.
• Works with QA and Engineering on performance testing for data acceptance and optimization.
• Owns data product briefs and product data requirements documentations.
• Ensures feature parity between app platforms.
• Models and builds data incorporating business rules and logic for the app platforms.
• Works closely with platform architects to make sure platform-level nuances are addressed.
• Works closely with the development professionals and manages the production release schedule.
• Owns data issues in production and ensures the overall health of the products.
• Prepares holistic recommendations to expand product base and vision, balancing project priorities.
• Demonstrates true ownership at the platform level, advocating for platforms sitting at the intersection between Product, Engineering, and Ops.
• Remains involved in all stages of the product life cycle, defining and implementing refinements and upgrades to optimize the end user experience.
• Builds a healthy, collaborative, and trustful relationship with all cross-functional teams involved in the product lifecycle.
• Ensures that exacting standards of reliability, quality, usability, and measurement are adhered to throughout each phase of product development.
• Evaluates innovative technologies and make recommendations that will evolve the product to meet specified engagement goals.

Qualifications and Experiences...
• Have a strong background in software development and program management, with solid proficiency in web technologies like HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, REST API's and database technologies.
• A strong understanding of the mobile app development cycle and the value proposition of GraphQL and be able to contribute to the development of GraphQL API's.
• Plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks to achieve results.
• Strong debugging skills and proficiency using version control tools.
• Be a perceptive and creative leader, and a reliable problem-solver.
• Excel in collaboration and prioritization of capabilities.
• Have proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role.
• Have experience in product lifecycle management.
• Have experience/familiarity with the Agile framework.
• Have strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
