Job Description

We are currently seeking a Privacy Manager, Compliance Readiness to drive privacy compliance in Warner Bros. Discovery products and applications through a combination of planned compliance initiatives e.g. annual audit and attestation, as well as reactive compliance exercises e.g. remediations needed in response to regulation or platform changes.

Work with teams across the company to remediate findings.

What will you be doing?
• Design and oversee large scale compliance testing (1000+ products)
• Work with Director, Privacy Compliance and Assurance to determine 3+ years testing schedule
• Create test plans and scripts for compliance testing
• Determine solutions for testing (both automated and manual)
• Report on progress of testing to wider organization
• Develop monitoring controls for high-risk processes
• Provide privacy support to internal audit processes and teams (as required)
• Initiate projects to drive risk remediation in response to e.g. platform, regulation changes
• Create project plans to drive risk remediation
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to complete remediations
• Develop privacy guidance for remediation
• Host drop-in sessions to take the business through the privacy guidance and answer any questions
• Maintain and publish privacy guidance
• Manage post implementation QA following completion of compliance initiatives
• Create test plans and scripts to QA compliance initiatives post implementation
• Project manage execution of testing
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to remediate any findings
• Track compliance using a unified set of compliance metrics
• Report on compliance metrics to wider organization
• Manage a team of Data & Privacy Professionals
• Oversight of 2+ resources on a temporary basis

What do we require from you?
• BA Required
• 3+ years professional experience in privacy or related field at any of the following: global entertainment company, data driven technology or media company, top tier management consulting firm
• Compliance auditing experience
• Privacy compliance experience, working with key regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc).
• Knowledge of privacy tools and technologies
• Knowledge of data platforms / environments in the entertainment/telecom sectors

Skills Required
• Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills, able to quickly build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to use OneTrust, Jira and Confluence
• Capable communicator (written and verbal) who regularly presents in front of senior leadership
• Proven ability to persuade, build consensus and work on a collaborative team with all levels of management, internally and externally
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills and attention to detail
• Advanced MS Office skills
