The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for partnering on defining the technology stack and architecture vision for the future of WBD. You will help to drive the execution of the architecture, make necessary build vs partner vs buy decisions, mentor and guide engineering leads, to build a world-class platform. You will work closely with the individual area leads to help drive their organizations towards a strong engineering-driven culture, improve operational excellence focus and overall execution velocity. As a principal engineer, you will inspire and raise the bar for the entire organization.
Responsibilities
• Support our global DTC Data efforts, ensuring that we have the data governance, data platform, tooling and dashboards, reporting and visualization capabilities necessary to support the business
• Contribute to the DTC Data strategy, with the primary goal of ensuring that WBD's data infrastructure can support the growth of WBD streaming, digital and linear businesses.
• Partner with business stakeholders across strategy, marketing, finance, accounting, advertising and more, to scope and build out the necessary data requirements and infrastructure to deliver on the business needs
• Work closely with the engineering and product organization, to deliver the data platform, ML platform and tools that meets our technology and product needs
• Partner with business, product, content, and marketing leaders to understand critical needs, use cases and requirements and deliver data solutions and insights to enhance and accelerate customer experience
• Build technology KPIs, monitoring and dashboards to drive the technology platform forward
• Drive a culture of objective, data-driven decision making across DTC
• Increase operational efficiency to enable data usability, availability, and efficiency
• Ensure the successful delivery of solutions in an agile and timely manner, within budget
Skills & Requirements
• Minimum - Masters in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent; 10+ years of industry experience; 15+ years of engineering leadership & management experience leading or influencing orgs (in size of 100+)
• Experience in a start-up or launch of network or direct to consumer offering preferred
• Exceptional track record of senior management-level experience in digital and/or television/entertainment
• Advanced knowledge and experience with best in class data strategy design to advise and execute advances, innovative digital strategies
• Excellent stakeholder management in a global, highly matrixed environment
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and deal with the complexity of multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Outstanding strategic business, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed, with the ability to balance technical and product knowledge to collaborate, negotiate and influence effectively with all stakeholders
• Understand business strategy and impact when evaluating and implementing data solutions
• Strong leadership and motivational skills, with proven track record of building, leading and growing teams to meet or exceed targets

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $228,192.00 - $423,784.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
