Your New Role…

The Warner Bros. Marketing Data Science team is looking for an entrepreneurial data scientist to play a key role in the analysis of marketing. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in data science with deep experience in measurement and testing applied to marketing to generate customer insights, attribution models, mix models, and enhance marketing strategies. This is an opportunity to work with some of the most storied franchises in entertainment including DC comics, Harry Potter, Looney Toons, Adult Swim & many more.

This is a position within the Global Enterprise Data Science and Analytics team, which is working to transform how Warner Bros. Discovery leverages Analytics and Data Science to improve business processes, and drive strategic decision making across our business units, brands, and content.

As this is a lead role you will interface directly with high level marketers to scope projects, develop requirements and processes for working with other teams, complete deliverables, and provide value to stakeholders. You will also guide and mentor junior data scientists working with you on projects.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Analyze and model film and marketing data
• Produce statistical and machine learning models that inform Warner Bros. Theatrical marketing data initiatives
• Prepare and present results of analyses to leadership
• Drive improvement in our methodologies, systems, and processes
• Provide analysis, reporting, and modeling to internal organizations
• Mentor junior members of the data science team

Qualifications & Experience…
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in analytics and data science
• 10+ years of experience with conducting analysis in R or Python
• 7+ years experience with media measurement, modeling, and optimization in an agency, consulting firm, or client-side role focused on marketing / marketing analytics / marketing data science
• Strong history of identifying opportunities for developing predictive models to meet business needs
• B.A./B.S. degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Political Science, or similar quantitative field
• Quantitative oriented Master's Degree or Ph.D preferred
• Understanding of machine learning and predictive modeling approaches such as Random Forest, GBM, xgBoost, neural networks/deep learning, etc.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Hands on experience with techniques for modeling advertising effectiveness such as media mix modeling (MMM), multi-touch-attribution (MTA), attribution experiments, and/or Customer LifeTime Value models
• Familiarity with marketing technology such as (DMPs, LiveRamp, Neustar), ad platforms (Google, Facebook), CRM tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and/or web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
• Skilled researcher, able to distill large bodies of data to key findings and explain them to varied audiences
• Strong history of identifying opportunities for developing predictive models to meet business needs
• Must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail
• Love of TV, Movies, Games, and Comics is a Plus!

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $145,250.00 - $269,750.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
