Your New Role

This position plays an integral part in all Role to Position mapping activities supporting the build and deployment of Warner Bros. Discovery's (WBD's) SAP S/4 financial and Ariba procure to pay systems. The holder will perform cross-workstream related project-based roles falling under the scope of Role to Position Mapping Lead and Change Management Champion acting as the single point of contact between WBD's Systems Integrator (SI), IT Security, Financial Compliance, and business workstreams.

The PMO User Engagement Lead provides organizational change management expertise and leadership to guide stakeholders through the process of designing and implementing SAP S/4 roles in support of their organizational requirements with effectiveness measured via organizational readiness and adoption of technology enabled business change.

The successful holder of this position has a broad background including experience in finance/accounting, implementing global process and systems initiatives and organizational change management.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Serve as a member of the core project team implementing SAP S/4 and Ariba, leading all role to position mapping activities including:
• Responsible for working with workstream Process Leads and Global Process Owners (GPOs) to understand the in-scope processes and the roles required to execute those processes
• Responsible for documenting and assessing any differences in as-is and to-be processes which may be required and coordinate with workstream leadership and the broader OCM team to ensure these differences are effectively communicated to end users
• Coordinates with workstream leadership to understand the vision for the to-be organization and documents how it differs from the as-is to ensure employee jobs are aligned or re-aligned to the target operating model (TOM)
• Responsible for documenting differences in role(s) driven by statutory or organizational requirements as well as considerations for outsourced personnel and/or third-party access to transactions and data
• Works with the functional teams to confirm the system is configured per the business requirements and that role requirements are clearly documented.
• Partners with workstream leaders to define future state user roles and system access in support of the TOM
• Partners with the SAP Security team to ensure technical roles are consolidated into business roles per workstream requirements
• Partners with workstream leaders to identify users by their jobs and align them to the ''business roles'' defined for the relevant process(es)
• Partners with workstream leaders to identify process / knowledge gaps amongst their team and collaborate with the training team to address them
• Collaborates with Financial Compliance and SAP Security to ensure effective controls (including segregation of duties) are included in the role design and build
• Collaborates with the SAP Security and Process Leads during SIT testing and UAT to ensure role testing, both positive and negative, are embedded within the test scenarios and test scripts
• Partners with the training team to validate the courses are aligned with the roles to ensure training materials and classes are targeted to the right audience(s)
• Perform project management duties:
• Monitor and follow up on workstream risks, action items, issues, and decisions and raising awareness to project participants and program leadership as required
• Serve as point person coordinating resources and bringing business awareness to technical teams and technical awareness to business teams allowing for co-management of the project
• Provide effective project reporting and communication throughout the project lifecycle to the PMO, other workstream stakeholders, and executive leadership
• Assess, prioritize, and escalate issues as necessary

Qualifications & Experience
• 4+ years of experience, broad finance consulting experience, preferably in implementation of finance change initiatives with a focus on stakeholder management, organizational alignment, communications strategy, business readiness and job role mapping
• Previous experience with large scale finance software implementations including functional requirements, system design, implementation, data migration, testing, training, go-live support, and issue resolution
• Previous experience implementing finance change initiatives with a focus on process improvement, stakeholder management, and organizational readiness
• SAP experience preferred with previous exposure to SAP S/4, SAP Project Systems, and Ariba
• Experience defining test scenarios as well as executing functional testing
• Experience providing hypercare support and stabilization through post go-live environments
• Bachelor's degree in finance, with emphasis in organizational change management, information systems or project management preferred.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of SAP
• Strong level of understanding of transition/change management concepts, organizational design and developing and executing communications strategies
• Demonstrated ability understanding business scenarios, processes, and functional requirements
