Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate must have a high energy level with a positive attitude, strong leadership, problem solving and analytical skills, great customer service and communication skills, be well organized, and thrive in a high-volume work environment.
• Lead a team responsible for Global Payments
• Investigate Unreconciled transactions and ensure appropriate action owners are assigned
• Be proactive to solve queries raised by Business/Stakeholders
• Ensure timely payment and approval of payments to suppliers
• Keep a track of all payment activities like duplicate checks, manual payments, exceptional payments
• Perform Cash forecast for the day/month by coordinating Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and inform Treasury team about the Cash requirement
• Coordinating with banks for submission of documents for overseas payment
• Monthly Reporting to Management on Overall volume of payments, exceptional payments, forecasted v/s actual payments/collections etc
• Perform entity specific reporting tasks i.e. (Cash on Hand Report, Interest Movement etc)
• Tracking and posting intercompany payments in respective entities
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and banks to resolve discrepancies and payment returns / failures
• Approval of monthly Bank and other Cash reconciliations on Blackline tool
• Support audit and other SOX & internal control requirements from Statutory and Internal Auditors
• Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
• Support the integration of new acquisitions into GBS and ad hoc projects
• Support SAP system changes, improvements and new company codes created with testing as required and support new business projects, acquisitions and integrations where needed
• Serve as an expert in the functionality, technology, and the business processes associated with Payment Process
• Ensure SOX compliance, including identification of control weaknesses and implementation of necessary corrective procedures

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Commerce/Finance Graduate with 7 - 8 years of PTP experience with previous experience of Cash Management Lead for AMER/APAC/EMEA customers for SSC/BPO
• SAP Experience is a must
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and creatively in a fast paced, problem-solving service delivery environment
• Experience of handling diverse payment function for any Large Global Organization
• Familiarity with electronic bank statements and working knowledge of banking transactions
• Experience dealing in multi-currency payments and E-banking
• Team Lead experience preferred
• Good in Analytical Skills
• Highly motivated with a desire for learning and continuous improvements
• Ability to take on new tasks and processes, quickly and effectively
• Understanding of SOX compliance rules and guidelines
• Ability to exercise strong communication (written and verbal), customer service, reliability, problem solving and interpersonal skills in a collaborative environment
• Ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with colleagues, internal partners and external suppliers
• Project management experience preferable
• A team player with the ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced transactional environment
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
• Operate in Europe/ US shifts as required by the organisation
